I was setting up my fourth hub this evening and ran into an odd issue.
I wrote the text for the modules in Word, and when I was done, copied and pasted it to text modules. I know some web sites have problems when you copy and paste from Word, but hubpages seemed to handle it without a problem. I noticed a couple mistakes in which a space was missing between two words and figured that I just made some typos.
After this happened a few times I went back and checked my original (I didn’t bother the first couple times, just corrected it in the module). The spaces were present in the original version. After adding more modules (the hub is a bit over 1800 words spread out over 18 text modules) I determined that the missing space issue occurred about 10% percent of the time if both words started with capital letters. For example: Northwest Territory, Tidal Basin, Pennsylvania Academy, etc. becomes NorthwestTerritory, TidalBasin, PennsylvaniaAcademy, etc.
Has anyone else run into this? I’ve checked around, but couldn’t find any information on this particular issue. It’s a pretty minor thing, and easily fixed, but I’m curious why it happens and why it’s intermittent.
There was another recent discussion about this issue, it seems to be a temporary problem.

This problem seems to have returned. Is it an intermittent thing?
Also, the spaces disappear in words that are not capitalized, and in product descriptions imported from Amazon as well as ones I wrote myself. For example, I have a link to a Force FX Lightsaber on one hub, and the link says:
"Star Wars Force FX LIghtsaberAnakin"
The product description that I wrote (with spaces) now says:
"I couldn't resist putting in alightsaber. You could buy oneof these for each member ofyour 10-person staff for abouthalf what you'll save by usingfiltered tap water for a year."
It didn't used to look like this, and the problem is systemic; I'm seeing it all over my hubs.
Happened to my Amazon descriptions, too. Even deleting them and rewriting them produced exactly the same missing spaces.
I have noticed this on my Amazon descriptions for several weeks. I've been so busy trying to get the completely unrelated hubs off of my "related hubs" area that I've let it go. But yes, I have had the same problem for some time now. I saw another thread on it somehere, maybe in the "report a problem" forum.

Why is it that excessive links to Amazon products seem to be permitted when they are added to the body of hub rather than as a Module on the side? In my naivety, I did not realise that this was permitted. Will these links survive when hubs are selected and moved to the niche sites?

The nice thing about the new Amazon capsule is that it displays the description text in the same size as the rest of the hub. This can be beneficial and may turn into better sales. So I reorganized one of my hubs, moving much of my text from text capsules into the Amazon description fields. This...

A number of my hubs are missing most of their amazon modules. What happened? I didn't remove them. I am a bit concerned about my hubs getting changed without my knowledge or consent. I write lesson plans for teachers and use amazon modules to post the books that will be used in the lesson plan, so...

Is there any way of adding tabs or spaces to lines of text?I want to center justify text in a mathematical hub, but don't see any way of doing this. If I display the HTML in the text module editor, can I add code to do this?

Bold text subtitles aren't an option because ads just get shoved in between the subtitle and text underneath. So all subtitles need to be H3 or otherwise to prevent this happening.

I've just started going through the first lenses that got ported over as Hubs and here're a few things you can expect when you start reviewing your imported content.First of all, my lenses are still all showing on my Squidoo dashboard, so anything I might need if something is really wacky is still...
