Just wondering what everyone's worst performing hub is? Mine is called "How and why to complain or register a complaint" and has ten views (HP only) in about 2 months!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Insect-Lore-Ladybug-Land
45 page views since October! Of which just 14 have been external!
Ryan, love your new avatar - gorgeous Initial!
Was going to say poetry, but they are flourishing lately - would have to say is (right now) a Sci-fi fantasy story in 6 parts - only in the low 60s and not many page views since it was first published
Ah, well...
Other hubs are doing much better
http://hubpages.com/hub/Anarchy-Does-it … ny-chances
67 views per month on average - so far the absolute record for me. But then this one never was intended for money making...
This is my least viewed Hub, a paper on the thoughts of David Hume, a philosopher. http://hubpages.com/hub/Of-Ideas-David-Hume
My worst rated Hub is one about making play dough in 5 steps. http://hubpages.com/hub/5-Easy-Steps-to … -Playdough
Ralphie-- http://hubpages.com/hub/Ralphie It's just a narrative of a pound puppy experience. I don't hate it, but it's not my best, and I'm not surprised it's not being read. It's also titled Ralphie--not a draw.
My worst performing Hub is "Yes Virginia There is a Superman" which kinda sucks because I had a great time writing it and thought it was a pretty unique Hub.
Evidently no one else thought so...LOL
http://hubpages.com/hub/Yes-Virginia-Th … a-Superman
I published it on November 15th, 2009 and so far it's only had 79 views.
But I have found that usually when I write something I think is really good, it gets buried by my Hubs that I would consider "fluff".
I guess that explains why The National Enquirer has been going strong since 1926.
"Fluff" sells.
This one
http://hubpages.com/hub/Managing-Asthma-in-Children
Published in 2007 and has had less than 300 views. I thought it would be a popular one, too.
If page views is the criteria (which is what the majority seem to choosing here) it's my just-over-1-day-old hub on vinegar. It's gotten about 2 views per hour since it was published yesterday.
My hub on ImagiPLAY Puzzles http://hubpages.com/hub/Imagiplay-Puzzles . It was a Hubnugget winner the week of January 21st but never got much traffic after that.
My worst had no hits in over a month and only 38 views since November on my hub "How To Change Your Health Insurance Company And Reduce Costs". I would have thought that would be a hot issue. Goes to show we never know.
Posted in January and boasting two whole hits
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Straw-Bale- … ook-Review
My worst is my hub on the New York Chocolate Show -- only 30 views since October! It's obviously waayyy too narrow a topic, but I had fun attending and then writing the hub, so I'm keeping it up.
My worst The Great Bathroom Conspiracy That's when I discovered that bathroom jokes just don't fly on HP. I guess I'm just too immature sometimes. lol. It did okay for a few days, but then, yeah. Hasn't had a visitor in eons.
For me it's probably this one
Help Fight Worldwide Hunger With "Friends Of the World Food Program"
It was published in January for the HubMob after the Haiti earthquake. It's a good hub (IMHO) about a great cause, but has had a whopping 55 visits in almost 5 months, and most of those are me trying to make it better...
I was about to say the same about mine!
I guess this is a good illustration of how topical Hubs don't always work - if they don't get any Google love at the time, they're old news by the time they get ranked.
Not that I'm saying the problem in Haiti is over, just that people have stopped Googling about it, unfortunately.
my worst were my poetry ones, even though I have added a commentry after it and an image you need lots more words though to make google sit up and take notice though
At least thats what I think
This is mine
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-loan-Guard
Agreed on the poetry. I have one single poetry hub, which has had 53 views since it was published at the end of August 2009 (it was my first ever hub).
five card stud is mine. It is hard to attract traffic to poker related hubs apparently.
77 views since I wrote it.
I like to believe this is because I didn't know how to write a good title on this one () but "Dealing with a Blue Christmas" (57 views total so far
) (Maybe people just don't like to think about Christmas and "miserable" at the same time.
)

This is one of the first I published before I understood much about how to make a hub readable. I even did the Google adwords this morning and saw absolutley no interest, so I am curious about how to make it more valuable; other than tripling the text, I mean! 22 views in almost two months!
I have been revising all of my low performers and this one is next on the list!
I have a couple which don't get any visitors, kinda sucks but there you go!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Choice-Italian- … ions-Gaeta
I deserved it, it's what you get for writing dream-like travel writing
I am not sure what my lowest performing is yet as they are all fairly erratic as only been here for 2 months..But all of mine have at least 3 views per day as a minimum, half heading into double figures.. over half my views are from outside hubpages.. I am not too worried to be honest, this is not the only point to having a hub, even if it gets few views it still contributes to the health of my other hubs through links and the like..
I will be more interested in my views when my pages start to acquire page rank and I climb the search engine rankings..
Here is my 'turkey':
http://hubpages.com/hub/Extreme-Writers-Block
As well as low traffic is has no obvious keywords of any value. Its an ugly duckling and I don't think it will ever turn into a swan or lay any Adsense golden eggs!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Hip-Hop-Harmonica This seems to rank lowest, think its just because its a niche subject, some hubs I just enjoy doing!
I've got too many low performing hubs to list here, so I won't. The only reason I haven't deleted them is because when they do get a visitor they nearly always get a click, and its never a low paying click. However, it might be one time a month or less.
It's like I have learned how to write hubs for money but not learnd how to get traffic.
I'll just keep writing and somehow they will both come together at some point, hopefully.
A poetry hub I published last January has gotten 36 views total
http://hubpages.com/hub/Random-Poetry-C … e--Old-CDs
half of my hubs, i write about what i like not what will get views
I wrote some junky crap about Sarah Palin that's earned me all of about 50 hits. In retrospect, putting time sensitive political hit pieces is a bad idea. For a number of reasons, really.
It is the only one I actually consider deleting, since I worry sometimes that it might actually warn off potential readers.
Guess it goes to show you that making a few poor performing Hubs makes you a better Hubber overall - at least based on the number of great Hubbers that are getting low hits in one Hub or another.
One of my most useful hubs is also one of worst performers:
http://hubpages.com/hub/11-Ways-To-Save … tion-Drugs
my worst performing hubs are those with little content...soon i will be adding up pictures and more information. hopefully it will get better.

Post them in here. Please don't post them in other threads, or start multiple threads for individual hubs, as it will quickly fill up the sub-forum and make it harder for people to offer advice when help is being sort. So, post links in this thread. Nowhere else. Thanks!
