   Had to check their site to see that I had earned enough - worried the payment in euros might have been raised with the dropping euro against the dollar - but hey I've hit payout!!

      Izzym...How many hubs that you have to post, before you can get paid? I am a newbie to this. Or is it that someone has to look at your hub page and vote or how does that work?

   It has taken awhile but I hope what everyone else says is true and that the second payment will come quicker. I'd no-one else to share this piece of news with. I did tell him but all he did was laugh and tell me not to spend it all in the one shop - or the Spanish equivalent of that expression! I know it's not a lot, but hey - it's a start!

      The thing is, if you watch something, like a kettle while you are waiting for it to boil, it takes ages!
      This took me almost 8 months, but it seems like forever because I am online all the time, and checking stats all the time (between writng hubs or chatting on the forums). When you think about it though, it took no time at all, and me getting this payout next month shows that it is do-able. We are all going to get payouts. Hubpages really does work as a source of online income

         Congratulations.     That "magic" eight-month mark seems to be how it works for so many Hubbers.   Chances are you'll be like so many other people who see the earnings pick up speed after that first payment.

    MG you are kidding right? I mean I get loads of days with .4 cents (sometimes less) but those are days, not all time.

       Yes, that's only todays. Actually I very rarely check, I'm on hubpages for the writing and getting to know other hubbers, that's the fun of it. The money, well that's just a small added bonus.

    The hours aren't equal as yet...I'm online practically from when I get up in the morning till when I go to bed, writing, researching, backlinking and course I'm in the forums a bit too (those are my break times) and I've been doing this for 8 months which works out at $12 a month?? When it picks up I can hopefully relax and get a life, eh?
