For the life of me - I cannof find the section that shows where estimated impressions income is located.  I found it once - early in my Hubber career but cannot find it now.

And How are impressions income paid out - if and when you get enough hits to make anything?

Thanks to anyone that helps me with this. Give me your links and I will visit your sites as thank you for your assistance.

You need to "check your Google earnings".  The information isn't on HubPages itself any more

So does this mean there is no more payment for impressions?  There is plenty of documentation that says there is. Google Adsense is a completely different type of payment.

    confused is what I am!

HubPages has never paid anyone directly.  The information I think you're referring to is the estimates we gave for referral earnings, which we took off for precisely the reason that it was confusing people into thinking that HubPages itself was paying these earnings.

For more information, see the FAQs.

You are most certainly correct.  I was totally under the impression that payment from hubpages was made based on impressions.  I am sure there are sections of the users guide and other areas that either state this specifically or sure come across that way.

It's not a big deal because learning to increase the hits on each hub is critical to getting activity on the real methods of getting some payment for our writing.  It is a bit disappointing that the support document is/was misleading.

    Thank you for your help.

I don't recall ever seeing that payment is made according to impressions.

HubPages has a referral program, which sees a person get 10% of page views. But this is not payment. Revenue is only earned if your ad is clicked on with your page view.

Adsense is a primarily a PPC (Pay Per Click) program. I wouldn't expect any official FAQ to say otherwise. But if you do see it on a hub you could inform the hubber of the error, or even report it to HubPages HQ to sort it out.

    Hey everyone,

I'm new to hubpages and just have a couple hubs so far.  I'm familiar with Adsense though, having been using it on a few of my regular sites.  But as far as my hub page, Adsense tells me that I've had 19 clicks, but the "earnings" column has a sad "$0.00" in it.

    Can anyone enlighten me...?

    Thanks,
    Lia

Thanks for your question. Google AdSense program has several policies. Moreover, Google has several technologies to measure the traffic and clicks from which it is coming.

So, if it is happened mistakenly that all the clicks were happened at the time or form the same place continuously; Google AdSense may not count those clicks for your earnings.

But you didn't mention the details  whether the income is only for today or form the start date to today's duration of publishing your hubpages. That's why, it is a little bit harder to answer your question fully details exactly.

      Thanks

Maybe Google is suspicious about the clicks. Be very careful. If they come from the same computer, it may have been red flagged. If they came from your own computer's ip address, you could well lose your account with them.
    Kind regards,
    David.
