Hey, you've done a superb job - the best of any of us - of getting around the "too many countries ending in -a or -ia" problem so far. Why would you need any rule that hasn't already been announced in the forum and is known only to you, hmmm? Hmmm? Hmmm?
Okay, I'll play along. I'll guess/assume that your special rule is that the last letter of the preceding word has to appear as the beginning letter of the middle or second word in a multiple-word country name. So, using that assumption....
I can't come up with a country that fits!
I don't know whether we have started including Territories, but if so, I'll go with
British Indian Ocean Territory.
If not, I'll revert to the original rule and go with
Oman.

Surabhi, I would love to know the translation of that prominent saying.
Our "rules" have been revised as we have continued this forum game. The original guideline was that a newly posted country would begin with the same letter as the one that ended the country in the previous post. But since many countries end with -a and -ia, we have a revised "alternate" rule that allows us to start the new post with the letter that precedes the -a or -ia in the previously posted country.
And then Haunty comes along and throws in all kinds of intergalactic matter, just to keep us on our toes! Republic of south Africa... (according to new rules.. see above)
