helping hands are greater than praying lips
In the end all it matters is one being at peace with oneself...
Being a true Southern redneck,
That makes my butt want to drink buttermilk!
Never criticise someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you do criticise them, you're a mile away and you've got their shoes.
This is from Abe Lincoln -- "In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years."
and "All we need are love and understanding" Me and John Lennon, smiles
Lotsa deep stuff here....
Even 8 years after the Rock retired, it has to be either; "If you smell what The Rock is cooking" or "Roody-poo candy @ss."
"A place for everything
and everything all over the place."
-Frank and Ernest
Not to be mistaken with
"A place for everything
and everything in its place."
I once found a saying: "I am studying all my life - my tombstone will be my diploma". I liked it and put it on a fridge door for everybody to read. My kid wrote under it: "Just don't be in a rush to get your diploma, okay?"
Not necessary my 'favorite' saying, however, one I frequently use at work:
This too, shall pass.
Scum and cream both rise to the top, but cream doesn't tolerate scum.
Love never fails; Character never quits; and with patience and persistence; Dreams do come true.
"Luck, often enough, will save a man if his courage holds."
"I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol." That cracked me up for a long time, now I like, If things aren't going right, go left.. try something new.
It's a simple procedure. My husband says this one all the time.
To thine own self be true.
If you want others to hear what you say, you must first listen.
Lead by example.

I am not perfect. I have made mistakes in the past and will continue to make mistakes. The object is to learn from the mistakes. I find it pretty amazing how much can be learned from mistakes when truly analyzed. I also believe Karma is reality. When I have made mistakes, I find it truly amazing...

If someone says the words to you, 'what goes around comes around', how do you respond?Do you agree? Disagree? Totally dismiss it? And, I have heard this stated in different terms as well.

Do you believe that "what goes around comes around"?Is there some kind of cosmic justice in which good deeds are ultimately rewarded and likewise, bad deeds ultimately get punished? If you have been wronged by someone, do you feel the need to get revenge?
