I just looked at my account stats and I have 1289 page views on my newest hub. I'm sure it must be a mistake since I've always been lucky to have 30 total in one day. I did submit it to reddit.com but I've submitted others too. No comments yet either. I'm just unsure what I might have done differently.
Did you look at the stats when visiting the hub itself? It will tell you the source of the views:
Hubpages - means your hub is being displayed on another popular hub and getting lots of clicks.
Other sites - someone may have linked to you on a well known site. Or a tweet or a stumble or something may have gone viral.
Search engines - means you've found a low competition high traffic topic, good job! Either that or the subject is usually not very much searched but suddenly is in the news.
hey, never mention exactly which hub is doing extremely well for you. There are too many thieves around.
I think Wry is right. Good luck with it
Thanks for the advice, but if anyone steals my ideas they won't make much money. I'm at 2 dollars now. If they are that desperate I can mail them a quarter
it does happen, who knew that when i wrote a fifa 10 tips hub it would get over 100,000 views in less than 4 months!!Check your stats and hopefully its true!
1159 of it is from reddit.com I guess it's right, it just surprised me that I had so many. lol Wanted to make sure that it wasn't a glitch.
To change the subject i've been reading about everyone's successes today. I really need to do more hubs.
Thanks both of you for the advice.
You're welcome. Good luck - I highly recommend the thirty day challenge as a good learning tool and traffic raiser.
I've been pysching myself up for it. I might do a whole lot of sales hubs for it. Mostly I still don't feel like I understand what I'm doing but I bull through anyway.
Reddit sometimes sends huge amount of traffic. Sadly they don't click, nor does the traffic last. But hey enjoy it while you can
And you never know, if it was popular at Reddit, it may well become just as popular with search engine traffic

I now have 15 hubs. I am hitting 300 pageviews per day. 1 of my hubs on FIFA World Cup 2010 is contributing to 70% of the traffic. There rest of it with 13 hubs hitting 3 to 10 pageviews per day and 1 hub with 0 views most of the time. I am worry that when the World Cup is over, so will my traffic...

I hear people talking all the time about hubs that produce good readership, but I know this number differs for many. In your case, how many views per month do you think is good for any given article? Just curious.

How many views, roughly, are needed to keep a hub from being unfeatured?I've noticed a lot of people complaining about hubs being unfeatured for lack of engagement.I've noticed traffic declining on some of my hubs, and I was wondering if anyone knows at what point I'd have to worry about being...

I had to look twice at my stats today-I usually have around 60 to70 views/day-which is reasonable for my topics-because in the last 24 hours I've had 322! I am used to seeing lots of zeros next to my hubs, but it seems like they're all popular.Maybe I'm paranoid, but this creeps me out...Any...

I am experiencing an overall average off 66 percent less page views per day, for seven days versus a week previous and for the past two months. Such a huge drop in page views makes me think that Google has tuned up something again. I do know that I don't have the time and energy to keep...
