I just looked at my account stats and I have 1289 page views on my newest hub.  I'm sure it must be a mistake since I've always been lucky to have 30 total in one day.  I did submit it to reddit.com but I've submitted others too.  No comments yet either.  I'm just unsure what I might have done differently.

Did you look at the stats when visiting the hub itself? It will tell you the source of the views:

Hubpages - means your hub is being displayed on another popular hub and getting lots of clicks.
Other sites - someone may have linked to you on a well known site. Or a tweet or a stumble or something may have gone viral.
Search engines - means you've found a low competition high traffic topic, good job! Either that or the subject is usually not very much searched but suddenly is in the news.

Thanks for the advice, but if anyone steals my ideas they won't make much money.  I'm at 2 dollars now.   If they are that desperate I can mail them a quarter big_smile

1159 of it is from reddit.com  I guess it's right, it just surprised me that I had so many.  lol Wanted to make sure that it wasn't a glitch.
To change the subject smile i've been reading about everyone's successes today.  I really need to do more hubs.
Thanks both of you for the advice.

You're welcome. Good luck - I highly recommend the thirty day challenge as a good learning tool and traffic raiser.

I've been pysching myself up for it.  I might do a whole lot of sales hubs for it.  Mostly I still don't feel like I understand what I'm doing but I bull through anyway.

I've found sales hubs to be where the money is most of the time (on the subjects I write about anyway!)

          Good luck. smile

Reddit sometimes sends huge amount of traffic. Sadly they don't click, nor does the traffic last. But hey enjoy it while you can smile
And you never know, if it was popular at Reddit, it may well become just as popular with search engine traffic smile

darn right they don't click,   and I've gotten two comments on reddit both of which are negative.   I didn't think it's written like a 8th grade easy.   Ah well, it was good while it lasted
