I have just this week hit 600 followers, something I never thought I would see on Hub Pages. Thanks to everyone for this! Big hugs all round. Just wondering when does one usually hit 1,000 followers? Any ideas?
I'm not sure. You got me beat! 600 is a lot of followers.
Well done! Looks like you are up to 605!
I guess it all depends on how much content you publish plus activity in the forums and comments on other people's hubs. I know that PDH is extremely active here, for example, and she has loads of followers, but I think she follows quite a lot too. I dont know where she gets the time!! She always amazes me as to how she gets around!
Then I have seen others who have been here 2+ years and they have a very small followship.
So, it just depends on participation.
And may I say Cheeky Girl a hearty congratulations. You deserve all 600 as you do write really good Hubs. As for 1000 in your case I anticipate soon. In my case I am targeting year seven that I am here !
I wouldn't worry about reaching 1000. It's probably in the future for you, but nothing to worry about.
Great work - hard work and good luck for the future
Thanks Shaz, I appreciate your kind comments! Wonderful! : )
Thanks Cagsil and Irish, I appreciate the comments. Some writers have fewer hubs and more followers than me, so it really is dependent on many things, I suspect.
I've discovered that followers, like money, snowballs.
I only hit 300 a few months ago and I've been gaining 10-20 a week since then.
However I'm sure there must be an end somewhere - despite all the new users there are just only SO many people who use the forums and are likely to see you on the site. So I'm sure it slows to a trickle eventually (maybe?).
Good for you Cheeky G!!
Well deserved. You are a loyal and encouraging Hubber

Today is my 3rd Hubbiversary! I thought, wow, three years already ... then I thought about the very first hubber who read my first hub and left an encouraging comment, which actually encouraged me to continue to write here. Being this is my third Hubbiversary, I want to dedicate this...

On New Year's Day I acquired my 500th follower. In addition to this, I hope to reach another milestone within the next two weeks - the 500,000th visit to my hubs in 4 years. As far as page visits is concerned my goal now is to double this and reach a million views in the next 2 years. But although...

Just wanted to show my appreciation, I don't always get around to posting comments or replying but do around 60% of the time!

I just hit my 4th Anniversary ($ anniversary in the title....LOL) with Hubpages and will hit the 2 Million Pageviews mark before the end of the month. I hit 1 Million Pageviews just over a year ago (9/23/11). To all of you newbies, hang in there. Learn all you can,...

One of my hubs has hit 10,000 pins! It's racing ahead of my others with the next closest sitting at 4,000 pins.Yes, this is why it's a good idea to create images made with Pinterest users in mind. Pinterest is now my top traffic source after Google.
