Just wanted to show newer Hubbers that it is possible and many people have done it much faster. I accomplished this with 12,125 page impressions for a total of $111.18 I will receive on my check.Much higher rate of eCPM than the norm with a below average click through rate, but I'll take quality clicks over massive traffic that makes mere pennies any day.
Not all of my earnings were from Hubpages, but the majority were. How did I do it? By spending time learning, learning, learning.
As you can see I accomplished this with a low number of page views, why? Proper on page SEO and great keyword choices.Am I pleased with these results? Not really I know if I put more effort in that I easily would have much better #'s. I made the majority of this money with on average only 20 Hubs since I started.
I also have made just under $220.00 on affiliate banners and links.
Work Smart Not Too Hard, but if you do decide to work a little harder than me you will no doubt do much better!
I've thought about doing a Hub on this, but really do we need everyone who ever made a Google payout to tell us how they did it?
Good work, it took me about 6 months to get my first payment. I just reached my 3rd payment yesterday by 5 cents! Oh man, I hope those estimated earnings are right...
The month of January was weird because I got a lot more clicks than December, but revenue was bad on some days... Hopefully, maybe I earned more that the estimated earnings say, otherwise a 5 cents margin does not make me feel calm lol
Sounds like you are doing quite well David. Throw down the balancing beam and hope your balance falls down on the right side of the tight rope, lol!
Some of us don't need it - but plenty do because they just don't get 'it'. One week, three hubs and 'I'm not making any money' (or similar - I'm being a little tongue in cheek) has been thrown out more times than most of us have had hot dinners.
Why not throw your money making method into the mix. Or at least a motivational 'this is how it worked for me' kinda hub.
By the way - payout at six months is great - more so with, as you've pointed out - the hubs you have + page views V effort.
Congrats....There is hope for me yet lol. Mind you I have only been at this 3 months but I am not giving up. I do get discouraged from time to time but then when I have a good day the hope returns. Hope you do write a hub on this, I will be sure to read it.
Awesome job Benjamin, much more to come for you I am sure! Very encouraging to hear these success stories.
That .... Is .... Totally Awesome Do the hub on it - that's another great idea Nice
Well done mate! I am impressed that you made it with just over 12K impressions.
Yeah David,I guess from what I have read and heard that it's against Googles TOS to tell people those exact numbers. I've got a few Hubs that are out of this world on click through and PPC,just low low low low traffic, lol. That's what my next goal is to raise my traffic to those Hubs performing the best and to continue adding to my 2 websites that have done a little business, but are still relatively new.
Congrats! It took me about 6 months to get my first check as well, and since then my earnings have sky rocketed! Let's hope the same goes for you!
Well I have not got the check yet, lol. Just broke the barrier so will get check end of this month I would guess as that is what their policy says. Thanks Vanchen!
With such success with only 20 articles they should be sending it to you right now!
Congratulations. That is quite an accomplishment with the low volume.
To add for everyone. So many people have told me I should go ahead and do a Hub about how I made this progress on Hubpages. Look for that masterpiece (Lmao) to be coming to a computer screen near you within about a week I would say. Thanks for all of the well wishes guys and gals!

How long did it take you to make your first pay out and how many articles did you write until you did? I am only curious.

So it seems I have a predicament. I don't have an Adsense account as over at IB they manage it for me, and I don't need one. I do however need one here...I thought if I just went with enabling the hub pages ad program I could disable the adsense and it would be cool, but now I see I still have to...

Hi everyone. I've been putting some work in writing quality articles the last few months, all my articles are approved as featured but earnings are still pretty low. I have earned a total of $1+ in two months, and with that speed it will take years to reach checkout. I have both Hubpages and...

I was up to 95.16 on my adsense and then all of a sudden it stopped, but I don't remember making any changes - Since it is so close to the threshold, can someone please check my account to see why it is not registering hits any more? How can I fix this? I really appreciate your help.
