For anyone who's wondering if our HubHopping is really having an impact, it is. I have been tracking a couple of the profiles I've flagged for stolen or mangled garbage just to see what actually happens after we flag.
Out of the last 10 profiles I've flagged, one of the hubbers has been banned from HP and 7 have had all of their hubs taken down (although it looks like they can still post more). So that's 147 cr*p hubs gone just by flagging those 8 profiles. Only two of the profiles I flagged remain unchanged.
The HP team rocks!
Yes they rock! I have seen such proficiency worked in past years. It gave me 100% courage to stand along with HubPages community. Tight! We are in for a New level of love with Google. I am grateful.
I wish there was a thumbs up thingy lrohner - cos your post would get a couple
I have no doubt that we have removed a lot of bad content.
The question is - how much bad content exists?

Do you often flag content on HubPages?I see a few hubs everyday that are in English, but poorly written. I hate to flag a hub if someone is just trying to start on HP, but I don't like reading poorly written hubs! What are your thoughts?

How can we check on the profiles and hubs we have flagged? After spending time on flagging, I would like to know the outcome of review by hubpages team. Is there any way to do this other than bookmarking them?

I would like to make a suggestion to the TEAM here on HUB Pages. I feel that it would be a positive improvement here on the HUB, if all of the activity that is perpetuated by Hubbers, were made known. For instance... apparently - anyone can go around giving thumbs UP or DOWN to a fellow...

I am kinda flattered, but mad as a wet hornet. Has anyone here ever heard of barryrutherford? Well, compare his Hub, Bipolar, more on this subject, and So, whats wrong with being bipolar? I mean, good grief! And this guys profile says he has studied law. (Studied, but...

I find it hilarious that Hubpages pushes the concept of helping new Hubbers yet my Hub which has had very good reception by the community has been flagged for being both overly promotional and substandard.I had 5 social bookmarking links, and 2 other links to free tools absolutely related to the...
