I'm just curious - Do you see your HP profile page, tag pages (clicks and impressions) in adsense reports? I mean, if you are using URL Channels for it.

The Adsense summary page just gives you days earnings, clicks, impressions and ctr.  You can then drill down using the reports feature to view either individual channels or all channels.  If you allocate one hub per channel then you can see exactly which hub has paid out and how much.  You'll also find some earnings which don't correspond to your hubs.  These are referrals.

    Hope this helps!

I will try to be more clear. I'm asking about pages like these for example:

    http://hubpages.com/profile/weblog

    http://hubpages.com/author/weblog/hot

Do you get clicks in those pages? Do they pay more than clicks in hubs?

I would think you can set a separate URL channel for these pages. And I also believe that you share in the adsense impressions.

I don't have a separate channel set up for them.

Your profile page is unranked, but some profile pages have their own page rank, and I would think the click values depend on the subjects you write on and the type of ads served.

I'm not aware of the PR of my profile page or hubs. How to find them? Is there a specific tool or site you suggest?

I'm sure I'm not writing on high paying topics. I have separate channels for my profile, hot, best and latest hubs-pages. They get adsense clicks occasionally.

I'm just curious to know how it works for others smile

Sir: Can I ask 1 question if you don't mind ?

I have gone through several Profile Pages and found that almost all of them get 4/10 as the PageRank. Is there any explanation to this ?

Weblog is 4 month old here on HP but NO PageRank. Any Reason?

Guidebaba, You are very courteous and give regards to elders. Is there really any need to use titles like "Sir" etc. in the forum postings?

First page of "best hubbers" has very high page ranking but other pages don't. I think it's all matter of relevance.

Hi Prem: I have gone through several writings of Sir. Mark. I have learnt that I am HALF of his age and experience. I just cannot address elder/senior people by name when I know they are senior in age and experience. I had some arguments in the past when I was new here. Gradually I learnt about him and other people.

I guess calling Sir. Mark "ELDER" would not be good idea because he is much younger from Head & Heart.

    smile

Hub Pages really doesn't encourage Hub critiques in Forums.

Sometimes, folks try to spam the Forums -- not because they want an honest opinion, but because they want lots of clicks.  So, for better or worse, that option has been closed off for everyone.

For help on Hubbing, you might want to start out with these links:

    Frequently Asked Questions

And on the Forums, "The Sticky Pink Thread"

    Hope this helps.

Sorry about that. But honestly that is not my intension. I just find the early posters to have some knowledge on what is good for a hub thats the reason why i posted it. But anyway, if you are not interested its ok.Just dont judge people as if they are all the same. Peace

No, I could tell your request was sincere.  Sorry if I seemed harsh, did not mean to be.

But I did want to tip you off before someone else came in with all pistols blazing!
