      Just about.  I think we're living in the aftermath of the end times - look what's happening in Iceland with the eruption of its most active volcanoes on 21st May.
      
      Could affect the weather even more and the earthquake mentioned for Saturday may just begin to take effect.
      
      I wonder if that Reverend meant a symbolic earthquake to start with to precede THE earthquake to end all earthquakes?

   Just go and talk to the 7th day christians, their entire off-branch of christianity is based on somebody predicting the return of christ, failing, and claiming the calculations were wrong, predecting a new date, failing, etc etc.

   I would like to talk to the ones who didn't survive - just to see if my theory about sin is true.  Consider yourself all big-time sinners now - and the only reason we're still here is because a much more terrible fate awaits us and meantime we have to keep struggling with our puny human-ant-like existence.  So, I wouldn't BRAG about it, if I were you!    it really gives new meaning to "Have a good day!"

      I'm thriving each and every day now; barley surviving is more for the extreme handicaps and people waiting for the grass to be greener somewhere in the Big Deep Blue Sky.
      
      The Mayan calendar just runs out in 2012, it’s the many religious people who keep making stuff up for fear sake rather than for the love sake. You are what you think, maybe if I were unhappy like camping at age 90; I might make dumb stuff up too.

            Your right, people get upset over TV media crime stories to the point where you think it total surround them,   I just open up my door, each time and only hear crickets, Worst thing that happen to me, was being mugged by monkeys, a true hub story.
            
            I f you always keep telling people not to think about blue, what happens? They will most often think about blue.
            
            1. That is why there are more Christian in jails (per capita) than any other group of people, and USA hold 25% of the world jails.
            
            2. That is why Christians make more wars than any other group. Why
            Dose America needs half of the world's war budget for only 4% of the world populations. That dose coincides with USA being 85% Christian and only Christian presidents can be elected.
            
            3.That is why they fear hell and act like hell more than living for today, Why be brainwashed and act like sheep more than man-in/ women-in up to the facts.
            
            Not downing US Christians, I have many good friend and family members there; just think they could do much better in these areas, as they do great in other areas.

      I was just having fun; yet, do have some doubts if many other brainwashed people can change, otherwise still working with the flow.
      
      My own daughter was deeply brainwashed for the longest time and she did change into one of the most beautiful person, I have ever known.
      
      Maybe there is hope for others.

    Religious teachings of all kinds usually leave a lot to be desired.  (you can quote me )  Many, many simple minded people need religion - I think they should have it, but they should stop telling the rest of us how to think and act and what to do.  I don't thrust my perceptions of truth on others and they ought to be just as polite.  I think its fascinating that so many NEED to believe that there is hell, heaven, A PLAN, angels, saints and retribution for sinners.  I wish they would grow up and just take responsibility themselves for their thoughts and actions instead of using God to blame everything on. (and they're usually the same people who like to blame everything they don't like on the president!)
    
    We have supposedly learned a lot since the Mayan calendar was made - and the same ideas that worked in Babylon don't make sense anymore.  GROW UP PEOPLE!  You can be very happy without a big daddy to run to all the time!! and, while I'm at it - lighten up on others who don't want to get down on knees and ask for things and attitudes you can work on for yourself.  There. that's that.

             Come to think of it I may be in the wrong place, I haven't seen any sign of the righteous from the religious forums, and Mark Knowles is sitting in the corner with his usual glass of red.
             Some say it is blood, but it looks like a Shiraz from here.

    I Survived too. I don't know how. I got so upset at the idea of the end of the world I just had to get hanging drunk on vodka. And they may not of had a shop with any vodka in Hell. I survived and am alive to do more cleaning though.Phew,lol.
