Post that hub with 4800 comments here. I may add my comment so I may not feel as if I've been left out.

Maddie's hub with all those comments.... i checked it out. it looks like her comment box was hijacked by two unregistered users Caroline and Desi using it as a modified Msn messanger to communicate with each other. Im baffled Maddie actually allowed those 2 to go that far..smile

Nothing like namedropping to bring in comments!

Just kidding, Sir. -- obviously a subject that brings passionate opinions. Your courage is admirable.

(Yet, I notice you have not  dared to tackle the subject of Garden Gnomes.) smile

I think some records are destined never to be broken, so I think Maddie is safe.

Here's my best one - It has 56 comments.

My most commented (with 73 so far) is Good Morning America - a Letter from the Free World

But have you noticed that the political or religious topics tend to get a flurry of early comments from inside hubpages, but the more evergreen ones pick up comments from elsewhere, slowly but for longer.

LOL, you can "name drop" or you can just talk about crap I guess.   My Excrement, Inc. hub is 4 shy of 300, and if you couple it with the companion hub, the pair is at 376.   POOP rules over all topics!!!!  (Except Maddie's monster hub, obviously, and all the others not discussed that rule lol.)

What is the benefit of Comments. is there any increase in hubber score or traffic to the page?

        1. dingdong profile image59

Comments provide fresh content to hubs and let the search engines crawl again, though it's not a huge benefit smile
