I have some fan mail, but whether I press accept or deny I am told there is a problem and I may want to report it. What do I do now? thanks, John
Thank you for reporting this. I was able to replicate this problem, so I will put in a ticket to engineering to have this fixed. Thank you for your patience!
Jason, I've got another twist to this. Featherhead7 left me some fan mail (per my email notice), and vice versa. Don't know what she's finding (other than the fact that she's new and may not yet know how to find her fan mail yet), but....
When I go to my fan mail page, her new post is not showing up at all. ???
Ghost32: It's possible that Featherhead hasn't approved your fan mail yet, in which case it won't show up until she does.
Sorry; I wasn't clear. It's not about the Fan Mail I left her; it's about the Fan Mail SHE left ME. I got email notice that I had fan mail from her, but nothing in the Fan Mail "window" when I went there.
I too am experiencing the same issue with Fan mail.
I went to "approve" some fan mail and received this:
Something went wrong. Please try again. And when you get a chance, you may want to report this issue in the Hubpages forums.
Yes, same reply that I got. Will try again and return if problem gets solved somehow. Thanks for letting me know.
I've found that when this applied to leaving comments, the comments were actually saved, even though the screen said there was a problem. Likely, the accepting of fan mail has been saved as well even if it hasn't appeared yet. Hubpage staff fixed it same day it was reported.
Just a note that this seems to have been fixed with the most recent build that went out about 5 minutes ago. Let me know if there are any problems with approving/denying fan mail!
thqnk you for the prompt response. Haven't checked yet, but will.
I just rec'd some fan mail and when I go to approve it, it is not there to approve.

Hello all. I just approved a couple of fan mails, but they don't show up on my profile. I noticed other people have their fan mail showing on their profile. I have looked through all the settings but can't figure it out. Help me if you can. Thank you!

When I get a notification that someone has posted new fan mail and I click on the link it goes to a list of my fan mail which appears to be in reverse chronological order. The new fan mail isn't even there! I have tried looking on every page of my fan mail. The new fan mail isn't on the first page...

I am not sure if I am filing this under the right forum, but I was helping my mother yesterday set up an account for HP. She joined to be a reader instead of a writer. I approved her fan mail she sent me, but when I looked at it today, it was gone. Is there a flaw in the system here or is it...

How do I send a response to the fan mail someone sent me? Thanks!

Why can't we reply to Fan Mail? I just had a Fan send me a message and I don't see anyway that I can reply to it. Is there a way? Thanks.

I do a fair amount of suggesting editorial changes to hubbers when I feel these may be helpful. I despise the challenge prompts testing whether or not I'm a person. First of all, my vision isn't exactly eagle acute. Second, if one letter or number is wrong, the mail won't send.I appreciate that I...
