I can't post on some hubs but some I can, please help

   I have been trying to post on a few hubs for 3 days now and it won't let me. I have been able to post on most, but a certain few, I can't. Although, others are able to. I have tried shift while refreshing, still doesn't work. Any advice would be of great help. Thanks for reading this.

   Hi some comment capsules in Hubs are approval only, this means that the author has to approve your comments before they will show.....jimmy

   Don't those usually pop up a message that says that, after submitting the post? Long time since I encountered one.

   I know for sure that one of them is not set to be moderated before approval. They just post and the post shows up. But, yes, I have commented on several hubs that has to be approved and it gave me a message showing that I have commented and it will be moderated before posting. So, that's why I'm at a loss here.

      There are two ways to moderate comments.  One, where the comments do not show up before they are approved, and one where they do.  Obviously, the hub you were trying to comment to is one where the comments do not show up.

   I usually use Firefox, but sometimes I use a somewhat dated version of Internet Explorer.  And when I do, I can't post comments on any Hubs that contain videos.
   
   Maybe that's what's happening?

   Some hubs require the authors approval before your comment appears. This may well be what is going on. Check the Hub again in 12 to 24 hours and see if the comment is there then. Also know that the author does not have to approve your comment.

   Thank all of you for helping. When I have posted on hubs that have to be moderatd before the post is posted, it shows a message that I have posted but it has to be moderated and then it shows on my profile page that I have posted and that the post is yet to be approved. And I'm not getting either of those things happening. When I post on those that don't take the posts, after I press the button to post, my IE run and runs a long time, then that hub goes away. On hubs where I can post, it runs for just a few seconds, then it posts. I still am not getting it to post for me. I thought if I had to have it approved, it would let me know that I have posted on my profile page, but I'm getting nothing.

   When I encountered this problem a couple weeks ago, I backtracked everything that was different on HubPages. The only thing I changed was I started using the new editor for capsules. You can find more information about the new editor here. 
   
   I'm not sure if you are using the new editor or the old one and I know it shouldn't affect commenting, but it is the only thing that I had changed prior to my being able to comment.
