We are getting reeeeally close to publishing our 200,000th Hub here on HubPages, which is an amazingly big number. We are currently at 199,536 so we're probably going to hit this very, very soon...
I wonder if it will be YOU who publishes it?
Maybe it will be Mistyhorizon2003, she has been shooting them out like a hub factory. It's impossible to keep up with reading them.
As long as it's not someone with a sexy photo collage, or someone who has only been on hubpages for an hour trying to sell us their latest and greatest marketing scheme -- I'll be happy for them. Hope it's a real hub of substance.
Possibly!!!
Has anyone seen gamergirl's latest one? It is about a yummy custard-type dessert!
Here it is: Flan
I love saying the word 'Flan'.
Also, not really sure what the lucky Hubber will get...hmmmm...
I'd be happy to give out high-fives.
I'll be very happy for the Hubber who publishes the 200,000th, no matter who that is. But I want to be the one who publishes the 1,000,000th!
Watch it be me publishing something typical and bordering on profane and entirely without merit beyond base animal level humor, thus crushing HP's ability to do anything even remotely celebratory out of embarassment.
I'll have to crank some out real quick just to make sure.
Wow! That's a great landmark to acheive. I hope we all would get to know who publishes the landmark Hub. I am happy to be part of this growing site.
By the way, I tried the Flan stuff and it's yummy.
Is the first post being updated at regular interval of time to acknowledge if the 200,000th hub page is created?
Did we get to the 200000 yet? I really would like to know...zs
I'm wondering on "average" how many new hubs are posted everyday? Casual observation tells me to predict some time on Friday?
NOw that would be another milestone! Hmmm, I wonder who it will be?
Me, me! I'm making a special sexy naked pictures of 200,000 Father Christmases hubmob page for the occasion... if I can get it finished in time. If not, and someone else pips me to the post, I'll bin it and it will never see the light of day.
200.000 must have been published by now Ryan any word on which hub was the milestone marker.....jimmy
Well I just published my latest hub...I'm hoping it's the one!! If not, I'd settle for a hubnugget nomination instead
I would love to know as it would be exciting to know, as it could be anyone one of us and a congrats to the person who did it, well that is if it is already done.
I just checked out the hubpages blog, "So, the only two questions now are:
Who will publish the 200,000th Hub? Maybe it will be me? Or, maybe even you?
How long will it take to to make it to 300,000 Hubs? I’m guessing that we’ll make it there around 3 months from now, what do you think?
UPDATE:The 200,000th Hub published was http://hubpages.com/hub/babysafetytrave … hyourchild
well done Moonloh Nice one.....jimmy
Well, it was the Hub that was first recorded at the 200,000th published Hub at that particular moment. Due to fluctuation of deleted and unpublished Hubs, it's most likely not the 200,000th currently, but it was the first one to make the big 200k.

For months I published no hubs and my hubber score sat around 96, in the last month I published three hubs, all of which are featured and each time I published one my hubber score dropped by two points, it's now down to 90. Is this how HP rewards us for our hard work? Correct me if I'm wrong but...

Is there a benefit to waiting to publish your hub?Is there a benefit for waiting for your hub score to become higher before hitting the publish button? I noticed if it takes awhile to get everything arranged that sometimes the hub score starts to climb. Is there any benefits until waiting until it...

Can I publish a book using my own hub material?

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery. What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?
