I for one, do not miss the bone chilling winter ,like the one we had last year.
with temps so mild this year, one wonders if we will be paying for it with a torturous summer heat wave!?

I think this winter so far has been the mildest I have experienced in my 9 years in Spain. Mind you, its not over yet!

I'm missing it. It got to 60 degrees F here in Chicago today on the last day before February.  It's nuts.  I'm really expecting the cold weather to extend into the spring, and I predict a blizzard to hit us in mid April smile

Being from the lower part of Texas...we will be paying for it with a torturous summer heat wave...anyways...so keep up the mild winter...please. I hate the cold weather (Only good for snow skiing...anyways...and picture postcards!).

Try telling that to the 60 odd people who have died of hypothermia in Eastern Europe in the last week or two! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-16817162

No, I don't miss it at all. I was born and raised in northern Minnesota, and moved for that very reason.

As for global warming, it doesn't exist, and paradigmsearch needs to catch up on the latest reports, which state the weather has in fact been cooling over the last decade.

But then I wouldn't get to say...

      We are all doomed!

Definitely a lot milder in Scotland this Winter. This is my third Winter back and the past two years I have been told it was me returning that was the jinx, with record breaking low temperatures and levels of snowfall.

It has also, however, been a very mild and gentle Winter in Southern Germany, without the usual heavy snows and Arctic temperatures. The first ever Winter night I spent in Munich - a few years ago now - it was -40 degrees. Breathing was only possible through a thick scarf - but I still made it to the Hofbrauhaus! lol

This is the mildest winter we've experienced in Western NY. 45F and sunny today - insanely warm. My kids were outside in just sweatshirts and loved riding their bikes. I won't ever complain about the warmer weather, but I do hope we don't pay for it with snow in May.

Interesting, very interesting, I happen to be in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, at this time, and I can't believe the warm weather.  I thought it was just happening here, so Global Warming is indeed alive and well, as someone mentioned. But, hey I'm not complaining, I live in Southern California, where the weather is mild almost all year 'round.

Not missing winter at all here in the Pine Tree State of Maine. I was hoping we might escape it altogether...But that rodent Phil says six more weeks of winter, I am not real sure we can trust Phil!

I am not missing winter at all! Back home in Michigan, my family is getting a normal amount of snow, but I'm spending my first winter in Utah, and we've literally had about an inch of snow all year so far on the ground (mind you, I hear the mountains aren't too bad) when we should have had 10+ by now!

    I love it!!

I'm having a hard time enjoying the mild weather, to tell you the truth. I'm not sure why- maybe it's just that I'm bracing for what's coming. Whatever the reason, it doesn't feel "right" this time of year in St. Louis to have spring like southern breezes and crocus popping up February 1st. I love the seasons, even if I'm very ready for the next one when it comes around. I say come on winter, bring it on- I'm ready to go sledding!

I thought we'd missed the winter here in the West Midlands, England. But last night it returned with a vengeance, now we've got five inches of slushy, slippery snow.

No, I absolutely do not miss winter, and if we can breeze through to spring without a single flake of snow, I'll be the happiest person I know. I moved to my present locale to escape the snow drifts and ice storms:)
