. Especially since it was only getting two or three views a day before the holidays.You can mention sites promoting books on your profile page, it is just not considered kosher to do it on the forum. If you are trying to promote your books maybe you should also try writing a lense over a squidoo, which is more about self promotion
. However, if you write interesting hubs people will check out your profile and click on the links there, which will bring traffic to the website that sell your books.
