I think pp revenge in relationships 2 help vent inner hurt & anger felt after they were wronged. Just like earth must vent heat buildup via volcanos, so do ppl vent. Sadly, it's often done in the wrong way.proper measures should always b used when confronting any wrong.

UNTIL God gets a hold of a person we follow our natural tendencies. One is after me you come first. Its easy to hold animosity, anger, resentment, thoughts or actions of revenge (I have been there guilty myself a time or 10000) but the CHOICE is our own, how we will reciprocate when someone else hurts us.  Hope this helps.

    Because we don't know ourselves.

And because we are unaware of the fact that the other, in this case our partner, acts only as a mirror to ourselve.

And also, because we, unawarely, projected so much in this person that we seem incapable of letting go.
We think we loose a part of ourselve, which of course is illusory.

If we would understand this, we wouldn't feel the desire to take revenge.
