This was certainly an interesting account about squirrels. It was enjoyable to read about them. I particularly liked your perspective of them and your own observations. In the process, I came to know more about them. I have always found squirrels to arouse my interest. What more, there are various children's poems about squirrels in my Bangla language composed by great poets and therefore my interest. Thank you for imparting to us the information about them in such intriguing ways.

    Thank you, Misbah, for sharing.

This is a good instructional article on the eastern squirrel. The facts about these animals are really helpful and the commentary on the debate whether they are harmless or harmful is something to ponder about. Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks for sharing Misbah.

    Hello Linda!
Thank you for sharing this interesting information and your observations about the Eastern grey squirrels.
Recently, on my visit to USA, I did have the opportunity to see these black squirrels. Honestly, I was quite amazed, since the Indian squirrels are never in these colours or sizes. They are usually a mixture of brown-grey, with stripes on their back. Their sizes are also almost half of what I saw there.
Your article has provided more details about these wonderful creatures, and I enjoyed reading about them.
Thank you for sharing another great article.
    Thank you Misbah!

Thanks for the comment, Chitrangada. I never saw black squirrels until I moved to British Columbia. They are big and interesting animals. I’m disappointed when I don’t see a squirrel during a walk through my neighbourhood!
