Its a draw between House, Dirt, Burn Notice and Family Guy
Probably of all Time I would say MASH, but right now my two favorite shows are Battlestar Galactica and My Name is Earl, although I don't know if I like where they are heading to in this last season of MNIE...
At the moment, mine are Prison break, Lost, Heroes and Scrubs.
Even though Lost has been going for a while, and people still wonder why there's a polar bear wondering around a jungle, but its the drama that gets me hooked. I even follow the current series, where it's now getting a little too science fiction, however they still have retained that drama.
Prison break is again one of those series that has dragged on a bit, so much so that it no longer fits the title, but it's entertaining with it's suspense.
Heroes is just fantastic, it has a different story for each new seasons. so even if your just getting into to it, you can easily pick up what is going on. I guess I like it, as it lives our childhood dreams of becoming a hero.
Scrubs is just hilarious, I will say no more.
i am going to answer this question once and for all... THE GOLDEN GIRLS
Madmen. Nothing else really rivals it on TV right now. Jon Hamm is also attractive!, lol
Lately I'm really into paranormal programs.
I watch Ghost Hunter, Ghost Hunters International,Ghost Adventures,Paranormal Investigations.
Monday nites... SG Atlantis, Chuck, 24, and Heroes, n diet popcorn
lol
One of my favorite shows currently on TV is DEXTER. Michael C. Hall plays such a complex character: he's a killer, but gentle, and I feel for his cause. It's a interesting feeling having a sense of understanding for a killer.
Uh.. so many..... The best ones.. Heroes, PB, Friends, How I met your mother and Stargate Atlantis.
Any Stargate fans out here ??
Edit : Dame ...
Theres some OK TV out at the moment, Chuck and the big bang theory are good.
But nothing, and I mean NOTHING beats West Wing. Greatest TV show of all time. Still the best boxset I ever bought!
My name is earl, Malcolm in the middle reruns, Lost, survivor, top chef, anything on the history channel, Desperate housewives, frasier reruns, and the golden girls.
Does anybody watch Breaking Bad? I haven't watched it but I am kind of curious about it.
I still find it funny how popular Top Gear is getting in America! I remember when it was on the old format when it wasn;t in the hanger, May, Hammonod and the Stig weren't around. Oh, and fifth gears Tiff Needal was not only a presenter, but managed to smash up a multi million pound Porsche 917 form the late 70's. Pink piggy I believe her name was.
Big Bang theory, how did I forget that. Simply awesome comedy:)
I've been watching a lot of 30 Rock recently, only started watching it recently and have watched all the episodes in a very short time, such a funny show.
Other than that 24 is getting there but House is getting a bit weird, last night's death cat episode just didn't do it for me.
I'm an old fan of Grey's Anatomy. And of course American Idol because Simon is just too funny, although in a slightly mean way.
There are shows that I really love to watch and then there are shows that I'm obsessed with, and not necessarily because they belong in the former category as well.
A tie between "The Office" and "House" because I never miss either show.
There's an old UK comedy called "Whatever happened to the likely lads" which I've been watching a lot of, it's really funny. It's a follow up to a 60s show called "the likely lads" and is just about two working class guys in the 70s. Great stuff!
Other than that I've been watching alot of the Apprentice UK, although I hate most of the self-promoting gas bags on there at the moment!
And as a fan of both versions I have to say the US version of the Office has long since surpassed the neutered UK version, it's now in what? it's sixth series? fifth?
Without a second thought mine is Cold Case mainly because of those sexy blue eyes of Lily Rush. That girl can cuff me anyday of the week !
I have so many. Forensic Files, Investigation ID, Cold Case Files, Women Behind Bars, Parole Board, HLN (Headline News), Golden Girls, The Locator, Psychic Detectives, Cell Dogs and Animal Precinct(Animal Planet), Antiques Roadshow, Project Runway, Top Chef, Jeopardy, What Not to Wear and probably several others I can't think of at the moment.
I enjoy Raju Shrivastava's comedy shows in Hindi. They are hilarious. He has a natural gift for humour and great mimicking powers.
He has been so popular with his comedy shows that he now getting offers of roles in Hindi films.
My list goes like this: football, Larry King live on CNN, Oprah and Tira Banks' shows.I also like the robotics and science fictions/discoveries on discovery channel. But above all,i love war documentaries.I hope i listed them correctly? Cheers!
I used to have a lot of favorites, but even with a TiVo...I just don't watch television much anymore.
However, when I do its usually a documentary.
That said..I also like pundits:
Glenn Beck
Bill Mahr
Bill O'Reilly
Larry King, etc.
And many others. I watch every pundit I can and take it down the middle. I may not agree with what everyone says, but I agree with their right to say it. O'Reilly himself has been constantly assaulted by what he would refer to as the "biased liberal media." And while this is suspect, if you look at most of what has been said about him--its all false or taken out of context, like the Limbaugh thing. (A Republican not agreeing with a Democrats policies?! Who would have THOUGHT!)
Also...
I miss Deep Sea Detectives on the History Channel, but Discovery is running a series now called "Treasure Quest." Its awesome. You get to see these guys dive wrecks for treasure, for pleasure, and for learning. Once they found some wine..popped the cork..and enjoyed it.
Sincerely,
G|M
Stargate SG-1, SGA, Battlestar Galactica, Farscape, Firefly, Legend of The Seeker, Babylon 5, Sanctuary, Star Trek Enterprise...
I'm a huge fan of British comedy - Red Dwarf, Blackadder, Only Fools etc - but I also like a good US drama - Heroes, Firefly and the Sopranos spring to mind.
"Lister...never, ever, EVER should your urine be green!"
My favorite TV shows are The Food Network and HGTV Home and Garden channel, I am addicted to the home improvement and decoration shows.
My faves used to be (in order) "Life on Mars" and "House". But since LoM was canceled, it's just "House". Oh, and Antiques Roadshow.
I just caught up to Supernatural, probably one of my favorite sci-fi shows now that BSG is done.
I wrote a hub describing how much I like the show Chuck. The idea of a geek secret agent just works for me and the supporting cast is the funniest group of characters that I have seen in a long time.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Young Ones, Square Pegs and Project Runway are my favorite TV shows.
UFC! Sometimes I just want to see some ass kicking! Humor:Southpark!
Criminal Minds and In Plain Sight. And I am trying to decide on Dollhose.
1. prison break (i'm hurt for the ending)
2. heroes
3. chuck
4. csi series.
i like serious series. but i wonder why i watched chuck.
How I Met Your Mother. Suit up! It's gonna be legend... wait for it... ary!
Oh, and 30 Rock.
The Sopranos and Carnivále (The networks should never have shut it down)
There are too many shows that i love to watch. In these days i am watching The L Word Episodes. This is a big hit. The show is all about the girls living in Los Angles.
I really like Top Chef and just about anything with Gordon Ramsay.
