I just heard that Comedy Central says it's bringing back animated TV cartoon show "Futurama" back from past cancellation for 26 new half-hour episodes.(yea baby!) It started to make me think that show should have never been canceled. What other shows do you think were cut down in its prime?

Ren and Stimpy was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid.

Come to think of it that may be one of the reasons I am the way I am today.. Hrmm....

Both of those are great examples...I still sing the 'happy happy joy joy' song if the situation calls for it...hehe

I wish they still showed cool sci-fi - Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, and all that good stuff. You can still catch them on TV, but only on obscure channels that don't come w/ basic cable.

    Thank goodness for Hulu.

That's easy. Carnivále. What a work of genius! Cut down on Season 2! I went ballistic. Still haven't gotten over it yet.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Carnivále shouldn't have been cancelled in the first place.

    Rhoobarb & Custard.

I used to think I was on drugs when I watched that. All the fuzzy edges and wobbling.

Married With Children... I miss Al Bundy

Firefly too was cool.  It was a sci-fi space western series which gathered a huge cult following and led to the release of it's big screen movie, Serenity.

Star Trek.  I mean the original series.  Yes I'm giving my age away, LOL.  All that said, Star Trek probably wouldn't have achieved its beloved status had it gone on for too long (i.e. jumped the shark).

Jericho, Moonlight, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicals, all were cancelled after 2 seasons, and all of them were great shows.
