Favorite Movie of All Time?
Movies like Star Wars, Titantic, Gone with the Wind, at the top of the chart for money-making in theatres, what is your favorite movie of all time?
My favourtie movie of all time is Godfather I just love that film and fan of that film too . performance of Marlon Brando and Al pacheno was really great.
It changes from time to time. Currently it's The Big Country, an 'anti-Western'. It's a film which attacks the idea of settling disputes with the gun instead of dialogue, and it features 3 great performances - Gregory Peck as the mild-mannered hero from the East, pitched into a wild west conflict, Charlton Heston as a complex character, who subtely changes from typical gun-slinging cowboy to a man who begins to appreciate the folly of senseless killing, and Burl Ives, who steals every scene he's in. It's an old film (1958) but catch it if you've never seen it before.
(I will be writing a review in the next few weeks)
My favorite movie is Titanic, troy, and mission impossible(i, all time..
Forrest Gump or Forgetting Sarah Marshall....very different I know, but I love them!
Lonesome Dove.........hands down the best, or Its a Wonderful Life. Of course Lonesome Dove was really a mini series so does it count as a movie?
I have so many but among my favorites are
Sex and the City 1&2
Nightmare Before Christmas
Phantom of the Opera
What Happens IN Vegas
Fools Rush In
My favorite movie of all-time is Miller's Crossing.
The American Astronaut
The Princess Bride
I would say it's Titanic! I watched a lot of movies and there are plenty of good one. But nothing tops my favorite so far!
'Treasure of the Sierra Madre'- its an older one with Humphrey Bogart but if you've never seen it you don't know what your missing.
Top movies for me, " The Good, Bad, & the Ugly", " Blade Runner" and " Inglorious Bastards" Strange mix I know.
"Titanic" of course...! starting: Leonardo DicapRio- Kate Wenslet
I doubt anyone else will have this answer, but the movie I can watch and enjoy over and over is...MOONSTRUCK. I love that movie!
(Oops! I just read some of the other answers and noticed that at least one other person listed Moonstruck as a favorite movie, too.)
My favorite is Glenn Gary Glenn Ross. Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alan Arkin, Kevin Spacey, and Alec Baldwin. A true masterpiece of drama and comedy with little to no special effects. Keeps you entertained the entire way through. Full of sound bites and wonderfull scenes that will have you hitting the rewind button and watching them over and over.
