   Mine is of source the web, using it in all the amazing ways of communications we have today, is pretty awesome, and I mostly like sharing what I can bring to it all. This brings me pleasure today as a hobby & profession, and is fun to do as well. I simply love the web.

   Chocolate tops the list of my favorite simple pleasures. Other simple pleasures are spending time with family and friends in those just because moments.

   The smell of a beach candle (almost all of them), a single red rose in my favorite vase, a steaming and juicy steak fresh off the grill cooked by my partner, watching a film while giving my partner a massage, reading my favorite Jeanine Frost novels, etc.

   Working on something in my craft room and watching my favorite old movie or TV show while doing so.
   
   Also sometimes on Friday evenings, my husband and I find an old western on TV--really old with Audie Murphy or some old time actor. We love it because the acting is over the top and corny and it is like stepping back in time to the movies we loved as kids.

   I absolutely love fire light so in the winter months I light candles and when it's nice out I sit by our fire pit on the deck with a chilled glass of pinot grigio
   When I lived by the sea my simple pleasure was going to the shore to watch the sun and moon rises...and I love a dazzling sunset. A star filled night with cricket song and dancing fireflies also soothes my soul. I could write about this for pages...there's so many little things that make me smile.

   My favorites are food, music (both playing/composing and listening to it), and my cats.  All of these things might seem small, but they make my life so much better.

    Bacardi  151, chocolate cake, and the movie 'Super Troopers' are my simple pleasures.  They do not break the law, bother my neighbors, or harm the environment.
    
    You ever notice women, well most, list chocolate as their fave pleasure and not football?

    Sitting by a river in the summertime watching the water roll by; watching ants go to and fro outside; reading a good book before bed each night; spending time with my boyfriend and family, etc.

    Simple Pleasures?  hmmmm.   Writing & reading on HubPages, reading in general, sewing, walks in the woods, playing with my grandchildren, coffee with friends, playing Scrabble, Crossword puzzles and Cryptograms
    Visiting out-of-state sons & their families, taking my fur-babies for walks and rides, discussing current events over dinner, random acts of kindness........simply being active, learning, sharing.......LIVING every moment.....never knowing boredom!

    Creative writing and photography, I have very limited time to do it...so I do it in my spare time and feel guilty about always thinking I should do something else...more useful and relevant to my everyday life:)
