Well, since that was only about nine years ago for me it would have to be Staind.  They still are my favorite band.

I have to say I was in a major rebellious faze, though honestly I haven't really grown out of it.

My favorite bands were a tie between Orgy, Matchbox Twenty, Mindless Self Indulgence, and ACDC.

Actually, all of them are still in my top ten.  Viva Rock n Roll!

A few months before my 16th birthday, I bought Yield by Pearl Jam and I've been a crazed obsessed ever since.

Seen them 10 times and seen Eddie solo 4 times.

Not sure what or where their legacy ranks amongst other bands but Pearl Jam is my band, my passion, my music...I love their music to death. Vedder's lyrics are second to none.

Yield, No Code and Vitalogy are my top 3 favorite albums of theirs.

Easy question...my favorite band in the 90's was Pantera. One of the best heavy metal bands ever. I would never have learned to play guitar had it not been for Daryl Abbott's(R.I.P.,2004) inspiration.

    Led Zep,
    Jethro,
    Chicago,
    Three Dog Nite,
    Bee Gees ...

Of course from the age of 5 it has been ... Elvis Presley!

I pretty much listen to the same music I did when I was 16,

AC DC, Motorhead, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, BB King, Peter Frampton, Joe Walsh, Tom Petty, Kiss, Aerosmith, Eric Clapton, The Who, Charlie Daniels Band, Dio, Alice Cooper, Jethro Tull, Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, Guns n' Roses, Deep Purple, The Doors, ZZ Top, The Talking Heads, Mountain.... ughh.... so many more...

Boy.... This has gotten me in the mood for some tunes...

I'm pretty sure my favorite band at that time was Queen. I think they had 2 hit songs that time. "Anotherone bites the Dust." and "Crazy little thing called love." I'm not sure if "We are the champions" and "Bohemian Rhapsody" were out at that time or not. After all I was 16...28 years ago!

I'm not sure what bands I liked most back then. But I do remember loving Madonna's first Album, I also liked Culture Club, The Go Gos, Rick Springfield, and Cyndi Lauper. That is until I discovered Bon Jovi, Poison, and Def Lappard in the 1980s. Then, I kind of became a head banger, as almost everyone I knew was at that time.

Now, I am back to the oldies but goodies, with a few new artists on my like lists. Like Lady ga ga and Andam Labert.
I am also a big KISS fan.
