I have a group over at Facebook with over 230 people so far who think that I would be ideal as the next Dr Who!
Absolutely, it's high time the doctor had a new lease of life. How are you with one-liners and straight-faced, pseudo-scientific explanations? And more importantly who would you pick to be your assistant???
I think you'd make a much better one than the new Doctor who's about to take over. In my mind, no Doctor Who should ever be younger-looking than the Tom Baker version.
Well, I have just watched the first episode of the new Dr Who and - despite being a huge David Tennant fan - I have to say that Matt Smith is going to make a brilliant new Doctor! He was great!
Has anyone else seen him yet? Do you agree?!
The new season already started?
Bummer!
And yes Bard, you can have my vote too!
It started today in the UK - but I think it starts in a couple of weeks in the US?
The original Dr. Who did come from the UK programming. However, it was also a series on TV in the U.S. for a number of years, until recently a remake of the older series has been done.
The NEW Dr. Who isn't worth watching. The Older version was great.
Have you seen the new Doctor Who yet?
Thanks for your votes of confidence in me, kingbyname and Marisa!
Yes, I would be fine with explanations and one-liners but there is already a queue forming for assistants!
HA! Found it on Ninja video...will be watching it tonight!
Thanks Crystal!
Deffinatly! You have a quirkier look than any of the others by far. Though the one with the pocket celery would be your toughest competition to outdo. Got anything wackier in mind?
You would be brilliant as Dr Who- but isn't it time for a female Doctor- perhaps I could do it-LOL
Thank you everyone for keeping this thread going! I admit I had forgotten all about it. We wanna-be doctors are kept very busy! lol
It doesn't matter about the age of the Doctor in the new series as I'm sure they will aim for a five doctors story once they have 5 doctors in the can, at the moment they only have 3 of the new ones, but hey that will be cool, Bard could be the 4th and I could be the 5th.
Hey Bard, I think that you would be an amazing Dr Who. Can I be your assistant?
You would be an ace Dr who for sure, I would watch you Bard.
A completely new kind of Dr. Who; John Pertwee would turn in his grave.

Besides being published with my own book Herbs of the Northern Shaman (O-Books) I have just been included in a seventh title by other authors who have written about me in their own books. I now have two pages in Leonard Cohen: A Remarkable Life, by Anthony Reynolds and published by Omnibus Press in...

It seems to me if I promote my hubs here I will be shafted - but if I don't you will never know about me. And if you don't know me now (after two years) - you may never know me ever! So I'm not promoting my hubs - I'm merely promoting "me"! To know me is to love me - or vice versa. Anyway...
