    Has anybody considered Stephen King's " IT " Snatching people from a water drain can be a little creepy. Not to mention that it's a clown doing the snatching.

      The water drain scene made me stay away from those all through out my childhood, even now it freaks me out a little!!!

    I mentioned the movie Aliens in another post, which is probably one of the the best creature features ever made.

    I also thought that the Modern version of the Blob was pretty gross. Like the poor woman who is stuck in a phone booth, and she sees half a man's face floating buy in the blob just before it crashes through the booth and kills her. There were some really gross scenes of people melting, and stuff like that.

    I can't really think of any other monsters that were that scary. Well, maybe some of the Freddy Kruger stuff, but, that was kind of a scared one minute, laughing the next, kind of thing.

    The first Preditor was also pretty freaky.
