Is it just me, or did the '80s have way more than its share of imaginary, colored creatures starring in movies? Smurfs, Care Bears, My Little Pony, Unicorns, Mouse Detectives, etc, etc, etc.
So, while we are in confession mode, I came *this* close to putting 9 1/2 Weeks on my list. C'mon. You KNOW you thought that movie was *hawt* (Thanks to Shadesbreath for the term) at the time. Hard to look at Micky Rourke now and ever, ever think of him in a sexual way, tho!

What are the best movies from the 1980's?80's movies are great and I think some of the best actors ever were mostly in 1980's films. I'd like to compile a list of some of the best ones. Any type - horror, comedy, drama...
What are some of your favorite movies of the 80's?For me, it would be Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Terminator, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Back to the Future, License to Drive, Karate Kid, Big Trouble In Little China, The Last Dragon, Top Gun, Flashdance, First Blood, Beverly Hills Cop, and Batman.
What are your top three favorite movies to watch AND your favorite movie snack?I'm always looking for movies I may have missed. Would love to hear your recommendations--and why they are your favorite! Also, do you have a favorite movie snack?
