What is the one song that will always put a smile on your face no matter how blue you may be? - It just might help the next reader find their new "happy" song!
My personal favorite "happy" song, among many many mannnyyy others, would have to be Jimmy Eat World's 'The Middle'. It's powerful lyrics motivate me to keep my head held high!
*Although it may be tough, try giving only one song, your TOP song*
This week has been full of crazy ups and downs for me...I just bought a new car today (not exactly because I wanted to) and as I was driving into town, "Lonely Boy" by the Black Keys came on and I felt amazingly happy and wonderful...like nothing else mattered but my happiness. Such a great feeling.
"Make Your Kind Of Music" (originally by Cass Elliot, but I like...
Drum-roll please (and my friend and I joke about this) the Bobby Sherman version. (Oh... I know it's not the least bit cool; and it's corny, corny, as they make 'em - but I like it. It makes me happy. )
easy for me

I like Belle & Sebastian's "Come Into My Office, Baby" although The Black Eyed Peas "I Got A Feeling" is probably my current feel good song. It's getting a bit old now so it might be time to update that one too.
Starngely, it is instrumental music mostly which makes me calm peaceful n happy in the toughest of situations and feelings. I can't name any one song. I love Yanni's compositions. Apart from these, "Gates of Dawn" by Secret Garden is very life filling for me.
Arcade Fire "Wake Up' is uplifting in the sense that I first heard it when I was making a major transition in my life. It felt like it was washing all the mistakes I had made away, and now every time I hear it I kind of feel new again. But anything by Matt & Kim makes me smile and want to dance.
Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Good Vibrations (Beach Boys), I Can't Wait
IGY - Donald Fagen
Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - Coldplay
Bring On The Night (live) - Sting
Guaranteed to make me cheer up!
Do What You Wanna - from the Jacksons' album, Goin' Places. Great song, love the beat, love the lyrics: "...live your life you wanna live, but don't be phony just be for real. People be yourself. Don't be nobody, nobody else..."
