Ha! Those times come seldom, but when they do Hubby and I pretend we're 20 again! Lots of alcohol, sex, and music! Even if it's only for a few hours we get to be like we were pre children!
That is very cool! I have a friends who have 3 children and, for the first time, all 3 were away: they did not know what to with themselves; they kept asking each other, "What did we talk about before we had the kids?"
Yeah that pretty much sums up what we do on those rare child free nights also lol
I write of course! ha.
I suppose if one is married, it is a good time to reconnect and recommit.
Hopefully, married people are having date nights while they are raising children.
My fear to marriages is that once the children are gone, two strangers are staring each other in the face. That would be sad, now wouldn't it?
Good question it got me thinking about my married life, nothing much it is just boring, it is like we have nothing to say anymore.

Why do teenagers shut themselves away in their rooms? We've all been there, but why do we shut ourselves away as teenagers and don't communicate as well with our parents during this time?
