How about a donut pizza? A large round donut topped with icing and sprinkles and whatnot in a pizza like way?
Well... I make fruit pizzas for my boys bout once a month..don't think its a bad idea a good dessert,
I once made a Rocky Road Pizza ,the good thing about Pizza is anything goes in fact Pizza toppings made with leftovers not only is full of flavour but saves money too.
Plus they think now think Im this amazing cook!! ( ya gotta have a good memory though for all those names you gave re-created masterpieces) lol
I don't think it would sell that well other than people trying it once, and where would you sell this?
Papa Johns has dessert pizzas. They're pretty good. No holes in the middle, but the cinnamon is similar to what you're describing. I LOVE them!
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought it sounded good LOL
Unfortunately, (male) Curious Traveller does not like anything sweet! Doesn't like chocolate, sugar, or any of those other things that most people find so delightful. This is not for any health reasons - simple taste.
Idea does not therefore appeal, I'm afraid.
the ones I've had use a sugar cookie dough, cream cheese 'sauce' and fruit toppings
I'm actually not fond of donuts (not a big sweet-eater) but I've seen pictures of cheeseburgers made with Krispy Kreme donuts... O_o
I can't bring myself to look for pics. I'm still traumatized by the whole thing: :-/
Haha, a doughnut (yes, I am English) pizza just reminded me of this article in the Times Online about the ten fattiest foods.
1. The 30,000 calorie sandwich
2. Bacon cheese burger pizza
3. 12 bird true love roast
4. Deep-fried Coca-Cola
5. Sandwich cake.
6. Deep-fried guacamole.
7. Bacon-wrapped meatloaf with a layer of mac and cheese.
8. Deep-fried pepporoni pizza
9. The Porkgasm
10.Spaghetti meatball on a stick.
wow. All of these things made me even more nauseous as I read along. ahhhhhhhh, gross!
I had the opposite reaction!!!
I like doughnuts alot but havent had one for weeks now
( Gosh I must be ill )
deep-fried latte , yep you read it correctly
some creative even if they are naughty chefs out there
yes its bad for you
but they said that about sex once upon a time lol
Deep fried guacamole doesn't sound half bad... The rest sound beyond yucky!
At our fair they have crazy fried foods all the time. Some are tasty, some are just plain gross!
Hi GG09 I will get the recipe and send it you via your email.
Man I love doughnuts *licks lips*
Here, you can buy them in all their forms but my favourite is when they're rolled in sugar and a little cinnamon. Mmmmmmm
The idea of a donut pizza is rather tempting, but would probably be a bit too sweet for me (unless it was cinnamon of course)
Also, I've found that Krispy Kreme donuts are becoming more widely available here in the UK, there were a few outlets/stalls when I travelled down to London, but now there's one open in the outlet village in our town O_O They're breeding I swear, although I'm not complaining, as maple glazed donuts = mmmmmmmmmmm!

What foods would you like to see deep fried?I ask because the Texas State Fair is almost here and they published the list of foods they are plunging into the deep fryer. The weirdest flavor will be bubblegum. It is not actually bubble gum but some kind of flavored marshmallow or...

If you were given a coupoun that was good for a complete meal (appetizer, main course, dessert, etc) anywhere in the world, where would you go and what would you eat? It doesn't have to be a restaurant. It can also be a combination of foods from different restauraunts/places.

Do you still deep fry, and if so - what region are you from?Wondering if anyone still deep fries in this supposed age of diet and health awareness. Also wondering if the regions that do are also the regions most associated with obesity.
