    When I was younger, I would pick these little flowers in my yard and suck the nectar out from the bottom.  I've never actually eaten the flower though.

    My grandpa used to make dandelion salad.  It was actually pretty good.

    Yes! The zucchini flower is widely eaten in Mexico in a variety of dishes, most commonly in quesadillas and soup.

    Sure. Nasturtium, violet, pansy, marigold, dandelion, day lily, rose ... chances are your yard is full of edible flowers.

    Yes in my cooking career I have eaten a few flowers like rose pedals, sunflowers, and dandelions

    I went to an arabic restaurant once and they had this sort of cookie that was baked with flowers. I didn't like it at all, it tasted like a scented candle.
