What is your favorite "wierd" food combination?

Are there any food combos that other people find strange, but you really enjoy?

Ketchup on toast. My family always gets disgusted whenever I eat this combination.

I would also be disgusted by this, but then I'm disgusted by ketchup period - even on fries!

Two slices of bread, 'Daddies' sauce on one, strawberry jam on the other, put them together in a Sandwich.

I have to hand it to you MickS, that's the most revolting thing I can imagine! Maybe you were a pregnant woman in your previous life:)

tuna mixed with mayo and diced onions on one slice, peanut butter on the other slice, slice of cheddar cheese, 3 slices of sandwich dill pickle...all sandwiched together.  Sometimes, I like it toasted.

    It is :
    totally unhealthy and wacky
    2 slices of wonder bread
slather with peanut butter, chunky style
    add crushed pineapple, drained
add one thinly slice banana half
    crumble ripple potato chips overall
I have ot had one of these in years and years....

This was sounding amazing to me until the potato chips came in! But I suppose that should be expected in a "wierd" food question.

I'm not one for weird food combinations at all; but I do need to smash my peanut-butter sandwiches into the same kind of "flat" they used to be when I'd bring them to school for lunch.  Does that kind of "weird" count?  I guess  you could say the combination is "peanut-butter sandwich and super-smooshed".

I like to dip pretzels in mustard.
I like to eat popcorn with hot chocolate.
I like to eat mashed potatoes with cottage cheese.

That last one really weirds people out but that's the only way I've ever eaten it. I think eating cottage cheese with fruit is just wrong.

Interesting! I grew up eating pretzels with mustard (I actually didn't know it was considered wierd till you pointed it out), but the cottage cheese and potatoes one definitely sounds wierd - though not really gross - to me!

I totally love making a deluxe cheeseburger using 2 glazed Krispie Kream doughnuts as the buns

This would be quite yuck to me, but apparently its a trend now.  I know that the Big E fair near me has burgers on donuts as their newest signature food this year.

I like my coffee black with a chunk of cheese in the morning. I don't know that anyone else thinks this is a good breakfast.

Interesting! Some of my friends told me it is traditional for Puerto Ricans to eat hot chocolate and cheese together, but I never have heard of coffee and cheese.

I don't know if it's considered 'weird', but I eat this all the time as a snack.
Some sweet chili sauce on crackers. (the sauce comes from the east Asian section of the supermarket. It's supposed to be a dipping sauce) Seriously, I could eat this all day long! My family finds it weird.

Interesting. I don't think I've ever had sweet chili sauce.

Cherries and olives. I discovered this crazy combination when I was pregnant with our middle child and it has stuck. I know it sounds terrible but the salty and sweet taste works together very well!

I do love salty and sweet, but I'm not sure if this one would work for me!
