I like dinner time because it is when all of the family is sitting together to enjoy the meal.  It is the meal I put the most effort into making and I like to enjoy good food and conversation with my husband and children.  It is really the only meal we can eat altogether.  I love making delicious meals for my family and it makes me happy when we all sit at the table together.

I love a good dinner. I love to cook, so I like to take my time and prepare something nice. Then I like to open a nice Cab Sav with friends and hear their stories. I like to spend hours at the dinner table, followed by a nice dessert, and sometimes even a cigar. It's my time to "unwind".

Dinner, because I'm relaxed and usually at home - if not at home at least I'm not working:
6:00 PM is ideal and I like meat (beef and pork) and seafood (fish, lobster, etc); I never eat chicken for dinner as it's my least favorite food.

Hands down this goes to breakfast. There are lots of sugary carbs to be had. Although these days I do not eat many sugary carbs, it is great when I go out for breakfast and have a nice stack of blueberry pancakes, a Belgian waffle,or some French toast.

It's even better if your have breakfast for dinner. Tag on some scrapple or bacon and you can't go wrong. Okay, I don't each much scrapple these days either, but I do remember the good times!

Lunch, my residence prepares our meals and they make our lunches much tastier than the suppers.

Breakfast foods at ANY meal time.  Mainly eggs, hash browns, sausage and a big cold glass of OJ.

I prefer to eat my meals at different time intervals. I usually eat little rations of food throughout the day; however, I remember that back in time, the evening meals were more delicious than other meals. So, the evening meals are my favorite, especially if accompanied by hot chocolate on a cold winter evening.

Dinner is my favorite meal time because it's good for the soul and right before dessert and bed time. I like any home cooked meal for dinner, like golden baked pork chops or chicken served with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with a vegetable and some bread or a side salad. Is it dinner time yet?

    Encouragement is unnecessary
    to motivate the culinary!

I don't need to float down the Nile
to eat a sandwich in style

    Just give me an excuse
    I'll even eat a mongoose!

    Food is good
    food is great

I'll eat and eat and when I stop
it will only be to wait....
    for next year's crop!

Anytime! If I catch a fish, then it's meal time.

Sounds awesome!  I'm planning to move to Florida one day just to do that - catch a fish and cook it for dinner - sounds like fun!

I agree with howlermunkey. I love dinner because its the meal where I know all of us sit down together as a family. I love to cook so it is also the meal that I usually have the most time for so I can prepare something really great. With the exception on breakfast on the weekends when I have more time then too.

It's a toss up between breakfast and dinner.
Breakfast is usually a bowl of hot porridge with some banana or blueberries thrown in and a nice big mug of tea. A leisurely breakfast at the weekend is good sometimes too, and I take the time to have some lightly poached eggs on toast and a nice pot of real coffee.
Dinner can be my favourite, but on workdays it's always me that has to cook it, which can take the shine off it, and it  sometimes seem more of a chore than a meal to be enjoyed.
