What kinds of food do you crave the most? Salty, sweet, fat or some combination.
Unfortunately sweet every time! This is one of those very hard to give up vices.
Wouldn't it be great if we could all crave Jello, carrot sticks, and broth? Sweets is number one for me, followed very closely by crunchy. Does a bag of M&Ms sound inviting?
However, since 2007 I've lived with Type 2 Diabetes. Giving in to my cravings was the cause of it. Within 6 months I was 53 lbs. lighter and my blood sugar readings were, and remain, normal. Although the bad habit has been conquered, the cravings have not. It's a constant battle, but I'll let myself lose a skirmish now and then.
I used to be a salty addict. Now, not only that, but I recently started craving sweets too. I noticed that coincedentally around the same time, my wife must have increased the setting on the dryer as my clothes started to shrink.
That's a hard one. I love salt but I also love chocolate (not together, though)
You must try Lindt dark chocolate bars with sea salt...no kidding, it is a great combination!
Yes, the Lindt Dark with sea salt is VERY good. So is the Lindt with Chili pepper. Both of the additives heighten the flavor of anything.
Agree with ya'll on loving dark chocolate w/ sea salt! My favorite is the Dark chocolate sea salt & caramel bar at Trader Joe's!!
I really go in cycles, lately I have been craving chicken soup.
A lot of times I will want potato chips
There are times I want salad
mashed potatoes
My mother used to say when you have a craving for something, it's becouse there is a lack of something in your body that needs that type of food. I wonder if that is true. But I do know if you don't satify your craving it will stay with you for a long time.
How about "all of the above"! I like to start off with greasy salty french fries and then move onto chocolate for dessert. Actually, you really can combine the salt, fat and sweet together.....Has anyone tried the bacon ice cream yet?
I know, I'm a regular heath nut....but it all tastes so good!
Salt and fat together, hands down. I love dark chocolate but don't crave it. All of my cravings seem to be for salty, fatty things....chips, New York fries, buttered popcorn....mmmmmm
Seems like salty and sweet are what a lot of us crave, separately and together . I know I crave them both. Hmm, I'm kind of hungry now reading these answers!
I rarely crave salty foods but recently I've had a Pringle lust. Everyday I will have a craving for chocolate, it's just unfortunate that craving isn't satisfied with fruit. Trust me I've tried and it just doesn't work!
I'm looking for... oh yes, there it is!
D. All the above
OMG! Both. If not together, then at least one after another. I eat sweet, then I crave salty.
Anything with dark chocolate. Chocolate Almonds, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate raisins. You name it.
For me I am a spicy food addict. I love buffalo and spicy chicken. It is my downfall really, lol.
I tend to crave combinations, because I will get cravings for whole meals. For example, right now, I am craving baked fish, creamed corn, wild rice, cornbread, garden salad and pumpkin cheesecake with a caramel sauce. Oh, and one mustn't forget the sweetened iced tea, but save the lemon for the fish.
It changes for me, but i would say overall my biggest craving is salty-sweet foods. Like m&m cookies, or salted caramel anything, or a trail mix of peanuts and M&Ms. At the moment salted caramel is a major crave. I get food cravings easily.
There is, in my book, no such thing as too sweet or too rich, especially if chocolate is involved.
It's a good thing my budget won't allow a regular supply of these items, or I'd be liable to weigh 300 pounds! ;-)
Since I try to limit salts, I get cravings for chips, fries, and nuts the most often. My favorite is a combo of sweet and salty like dark chocolate w/ sea salt or shortbreads w/ salty caramel.
I love the pairing of sweet and salty like salted butter caramels and peanut butter and chocolate. I recently wrote a hub for blondies made with dark chocolate and salted caramel. Yum! It's hard to stop eating them.
I always crave for salty food and sometimes sweet. Did you know that giving in to your cravings can help you prevent yourself from gaining weight? If you a preventing yourself to eat what you crave for then the tendency is for you to eat other food in great amount or if you got the chance to eat your craving the second time you craved then you might just it too much of it.

What do U Crave???...I work out 4 to 5 times a week, and I go hard in the gym. I probably eat healthier than 90% of my friends, but I know that if I could just discipline myself to say 'No' to my cravings for Oreo's and cold 1% milk, or pepperoni pizza with double cheese... my body would look...

Do you have a sweet tooth or salty tooth? Or do you like a combination?I have a combination, but lean to the salty side -- like just a little m&m's with salted popcorn. What do you prefer for snacks, sweety or salty, or both?
