Relax ! You have only been here two days ! As time goes by and your body of work expands as well as your hubtivity you will see your hubscore rise as well. And do not forget to base your whole self worth on your hubscore ! smile Welcome to HP !

I checked your hubs, which look pretty good. You did a fine job with images, linking your hubs together.

Your hubscore should start going up pretty soon, give it a week. There's nothing you can do at this point, it is a measure of trust, which takes time to build. Keep writing, leave a few comments on people's hubs, do some reading, and sit back and wait.

Once your hubscore has stabilized on a higher level, there is more you can do, as I'm sure is well-covered in the references so generously provided by Cagsil.

    Good luck!

If you want to get your hubber score up participate on the site, leave comments on other peoples hubs (relevant ones and no links!), post here in the forum, answer questions and so on, the more you do the higher your score will be.. I got my score to 75+ in about 1 week or so with lots of participation.. (I have been here only 2 months and my hubber score is staying around the 90 mark)..

As to your hubscores, read the hubs about writing hubs, they are very helpful Cagsil has left you a list to read.. Your hubs are well written, maybe a little longer with a few other capsule types such as "basketball news"..

When you work out what works well, tell us all... we are all still learning..

      Best to you... Peace smile

hey leanman I did the news thing that was cool! didnt know i could do that, and concerning the lenghth of the hubs, i think they are a little short, a good hub is 500-1000 word, mine are barely 400, so i have some writing to do , thanx for the advice

Hubscore starts low and rises with time, don't worry about it!

Hi and welcome to HubPages.  Everyone has given you good advice about Hubscore - although the thing to remember is, HubScore is just a reflection of how well you're doing, it doesn't help you get traffic or earn money.

Someone mentioned images - I don't see any photo credits on your Hubs.  Just a note, in case you don't know, that all photos are copyright unless there's a note that says otherwise.  So you shouldn't use photos off other sites unless they say you can.

You need to find Creative Commons or public domain photos.

Excellent advice from fellow hubbers.  I just wanted to add that I am also new to the experience and find it very confusing to follow even the simplest instructions and wondering about the scores etc.
I have been trying to figure out how to use various tools and it is a lot overwhelming.
Almost every day, I read a hub, or look at the forums and find out a lot of new stuff.
I too feel that your hubs look good, they might appeal to a relatively small audience, and you have a few grammatical corrections to make.   You learned early on how to link the articles....good job on that, that idea took me some weeks.
Hang in there, you did the right thing in posting to the forum because it will add to your traffic and participation in the forums.

thanx marisa and lighting  thanx for your tips
steve the thing with hub i am finding its much easier then squidoo, it took me forever to learn squidoo, and hub and squidoo are similar with somestuff, but i find hubpage is for some reason simpler. however i do understand that there is always a learning curve, and each person has a different pace in learning, for me my learing curve is loooong lol, but becuase thank god i was acquinted with squidoo which made this easier to learn smile thanx for your comment and tips

Dito on pretty much all the advise here...many of these people helping you (like Cagsil) helped me when I got started as well.  Focus on writing more hubs on topics that you like and participating in the forums and you will be rocking it soon!

hey everyone just want to give an update

its my 5th day and now my hubscore is at 77! so basically for everyday went up ten, as long as you are active.
what do i mean by active?

-comment everyday, a few comments will do( be interested in the topic and right a real comment)

-follow some people that interest you ( when i say follow i mean on the side of a persons profile there is a 'follow this person button')

-check the forum out, dont be shy there are so many pple that help, i couldnt believe all those pple actually replied to me

-4 of my articles were short at around 300+ words, so I added a couple hundred making them all 500+ words.

    That's what i did!
so thanx everyone and hope this will help people out smile)

Welcome to Hub Pages: if you write relevant and topical subjects, you will do well here. Write what you know, add some good pictures or videos (check out Youtube!) and even throw in some Google ads and you will get a high rating within 2 weeks. All the successful hub writers I have read here did this.
