Why does my tracker say I don't exist on Hubpages?

   Rather belatedly I've just tried to add my tracker to my profile page so new hubbers can join from my link.  The link is showing as being successful.   
   
   However, when I checked the link it said that this user doesn't exist - something similar.
   
   What have I done wrong?

   Canyou post the exact link you put up?
   That way someone here can say what you've done wrong, exactly.
   I can put a tracker into a hub, but am not sure how its done for a join-up. Unless I saw the link...

   I think the tracker would go directly after hubpages - hubpages.com/tracker.

         Remember to include an underscore before the tracker.  It's best to make up a simpler one anyway, that way you're less likely to spell it wrong.

   You can change that you know to a short term you'll remember. Go to hub stats page ~> URL trackers ~> create a new tracker. Put whatever you want in, click save.

   Marisa are you saying that I just put in say the underscore then an easy name as my tracker? Example "_abcde"

      create another tracker with an easy name and when you paste it in you links use underscore ('_') sign before the name.
      OR
      copy the old tracker and use it in url as shown below.
      
      http://hubpages.com/_yourtracker/profile/travelespresso
      
      Notice: You should insert your tracker just after the hubpages.com/

               Thanks - now I just have to work out how to get someone to join HP using the link attached to my tracker!  Any ideas?
