      because to me it is beyond silly to think that an entity created anything. where is he, how could something that demands to be worshipped make so many mistakes?and finally if he exists where did he come from?

   God exist because I exist. I have life not given by man. My dad only followed protocol as predetermined by a Creator. I believe something created something, not nothing created something, and the beauty of the universe is that it sustains my life. I call this creator God.

   Who planted the seed?
   
   There is order to the Universe...to the planet, its distants from the sun, the molecules that make up water and oxygen that sustain our lives. Many argue that it’s all merely coincidence...I don’t think so.
   
   Does God exist? This question gives rise to the belief there is a God...if there wasn’t why ask the question to begin with.
   
   If to cause people who believe in God to doubt that belief...it’s not very likely. If it’s to answer someones own need. They won’t find it in science or labratories.

   No I don't believe gods exist. There is no objective, verifiable evidence for their existence. I find it strange that most people who believe in gods use reason and logic to dismiss other supernatural entities such as leprechauns, mermaids, fairies etc yet when it comes to their gods, the reason and logic used to dismiss the above entities seems to go out of the window.

   very good question...a slightly different version of this has been troubling me for a very long time and like you i have asked many people.
   
   But i think that answer can only come from inside and not from others. Others will give their interpretation of life and that can be completely different.
   
   I believe in god, not because i follow a religion. I believe in god because i have a feeling that he exists...a feeling that is impossible to quantify.
   
   As far as my belief doesn't hurt anyone i am not going to be worried..
