So what is your opinion? If you have research, post it. No one can understand what is going on in the world unless you understand this.

If you're heading with this where I think you're heading, I'm fascinated to learn more about this theory (or maybe it is a fact). Do tell us more, bgamall!

Hi Mighty Mom. Yes, the BBC and the Telegraph both reported it and there are links to both available. No US media reported it other than the reports copied from the British links.

The reason they went to Texas was so that Unocal, now part of Chevron, could persuade them to build a pipeline to Halliburton investments in the Caspian Sea. When they refused, it gave oil men motive to seek their demise.

The new wrinkle of course, is that this gave the oil men motive to help set up 911. In fact, on the neocon PNAC website, the concept for a "new Pearl Harbor" was put forth. This surprise attack would be needed in order for the US populace to embrace the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Both wars were for oil, one for reserves and the other for the pipeline.

Oh, and of course one of the members of PNAC was Dick Cheney, former CEO of Halliburton.

These neocons are murderous monsters, and without the visit to Texas, none of it makes any sense. Oh yes, I forgot, even Warren Buffet was involved. I can supply the links if people want to know more.

Unocal was the company the US designated to arm the Taliban. There is some evidence or claim to evidence that Karzai was once employed by them.

The fact that the Taliban were in the U.S is both widely documented and was televised (a horrible back-firing stunt for both parties).

I remember reading about the "magic pipeline" in the book Ghost wars, which I found to be a great, if predictable, read -- which deals with CIA - ISI and Taliban relations.

Yes, local warlords and tribes, along with the Taliban were contrary to the pipeline in question. And Unocal sparred with the Taliban's one-eyed leader continuously.

Despite all this, I think it is too simplistic to claim its simply "all about the oil". The invasion of Afghanistan was certainly fueled by domestic zealousness, but there were, and remain, a plethora of plausible reasons for the invasion.

No, there was one reason and one reason alone, that pipeline. The pipeline frustration gave motive for US involvement in  911 so you can't say 911 was the reason. PNAC and the neocons had both motive and knowledge of the need for a "new Pearl Harbor", that I read with my own eyes on their website, as they didn't take it down right away. That would have caused even more suspicion.

Could you use that thing to bring Americans involved in 911 to justice? No, actually, they won't ever be brought to justice, in this life anyway.

    "These neocons are murderous monsters"

Couldn't agree more. The PNAC papers tell it all. And I have also read that there are alot of reserves in the waters outside of the Gaza strip. And of course, next on the target is Iran....

And it was PNAC member William Krystal, who "discovered" Sarah Palin.

WHY do they get so much power????

Just who and what is America anyway?

    1. bgamall profile image67
bgamallposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Actually, PNAC founder Bill Krystol and karl Rove want Palin for president as she would be their pawn. She is a dominionist who believes that the world must be physically taken for Christ. Christ said that his kingdom was not of this world and his servants won't fight for him. So, Palin is a dominionist which is false religion.

But the neocons are using the dominionist for raw power and world dominion. We risk WW3 if any neocon gets elected.

Is a dominionist the same as a dominatrix? Is it possible to be both a dominionist and a dominatrix?

I think LBJ had JFK killed for the oil in Air Force one.

Or maybe it was the potpourri in Jackie O's cabin.

Not funny Jim. You should really apply yourself to these revelations, and you may have to change your whole world view. I know it would be difficult for you, because so many cannot handle the truth.

I am very ignorant when it comes to politics and conspiracy theories, and the like. I hope this is not at all true. Yet I know anything is possible. It is just hard to fathom such a thing.

    1. bgamall profile image67
bgamallposted 13 years agoin reply to this

Diane, this is exactly right. It is hard to fathom. But it is true. The problem is that people grow up trusting their government, especially in the United States. There are things happening here that are really a consolidation of world power, The oil and financial sectors, internationally, have a very close relationship. The dominant player in Chase was the owner of Standard oil. The Rockefeller family is just one of the mega rich families that wants a NWO, with the US as the dominant player the world over.

The problem with the NWO is that on the surface, it is benevolent. But it is not benevolent, because it has room for all manner of local wars, and it permitted liar loans and easy money that wrecked the lives of millions of Americans and homeowners in Europe as well. I have on my One World Government hub that has been popular for quite some time.

And I am not letting the Democrats or Republicans off the hook as they both sought the repeal of Glass-Steagall, by a 90 to 8 vote, that resulted in the ability of banks to take major risk in buying crappy loans. The swaps, or insurance that was once forbidden to be written by banks, was allowed after the repeal.

The repeal undid all the work of the Great Depression to insure there was never another one.

So, between 911 and this financial ponzi housing scam, two of the biggest conspiracies known to man, ever, took place within years of each other.

I always felt our own Country was involved with 09/11 all because of greed. I can't remember the video I had seen on youtube, but I watched every second of it and knew our own government was shady. It is shameful and horrific to say the least, keep talking we are listening.

Taliban is based in Pakistan and Afganistan. And USA treats Pakistan as its closest ally, overlooking all the dangers inherent in Pakistan against America. So, all Pakistanis are privileged to travel anywhere in USA.

If they came to Washington and New York to destroy the towers, hit the pentagon, aim at the white house, why cant they come to Texas?

I remember when Musharraf was on tv, when he was allying himself with Bushco....he was sweating bullets! He looked so scared. God, that Bushco was an awful awful regime!!! And they are trying like HELL to come back. They have confiscated the tea party and turned the Baggers into the new neo-con platform.

"We risk WW3 if any neocon gets elected."

Couldn't agree with you more there too....but it looks like it's going that way anyhow! What is with all this rumbling against Iran?? It's JUST like pre-Iraq!!

The neocons are not the same as historical conservatives. Historical conservatives were slow to war and fiscally responsible. Neocons are fast to war and fiscally irresponsible.

No president before George Bush 2 actively tried to engage in massive conflict with the Russians. Only the neocons risk WW3 to surround the Russians with NATO.
