Guys, i am just curious. Which do you like more? Blogger or Tumblr for blogging?
I am seriously thorn between two. Tumblr is nice for the layout but Adsense is self customize. Blogger is like 'pre-loaded'.
What do you think?
Yes. You can edit theme html or create your own themes as well. I've one tumblr blog with adbrite ads on it.
I eagerly await your hub on adding Adsense to Tumblr!
Even I have a Blog in Tumblr I would like to add adsense if someone can guide me how to do it.
Hi Anamika S!
How was Tumblr? In your opinion, is it good?
I found it very fun to use compared to blogger. Even thou adding adsense is a little challenging, it is way easy.
Check out this site on how to add adsense to tumblr blog (credit to the writer!)

This was easy: http://justnuggets.tumblr.com/post/1481 … -in-tumblr
Yes you can add adsense but it is a little of hassle. Trying to get it down and right...
Any1 using tumblr and any good comments there?
Hi nicregi,
I've never heard of tumblr. Does tumblr offer an affiliate link to it's members? If so I'll join from your referral link. Or is it like blogger? Simply free with no referrals.
Hi mailxpress.
In tumblr, there is no referral link. But, I am very thankful for what you said
It is just like blogger, but it is much more simple in the sense you can post basically everything!
You can add in adsense too but it need a little manual setting which I did it successfully
Nothing much as I just joined ytd but it was fun..real fun compared to Blogger.
I have about 20 different blogs on on blogger and 0 on Tumblr. I especially like the new features blogger has added with the easy customization of their templates. Also, blogger seems to do really well in the search engines but not better than wordpress. Wordpress.org is my favorite, but you have to have your own domain and hosting.
Thanks so much for sharing. I didn't realize when using Wordpress that we needed a Domain and Hosting. I always thought Wordpress offered free blogger service.
There's actually 2 different Wordpress sites. Wordpress.org is the one you need your own domain and hosting for and Wordpress.com you don't.
Mailxpress, actually wordpress.com is free while the other is chargeable
Why not try wordpress? it has tons of plugins and many themes to choose from. Google love wordpress too
I saw a blog of a friend of mine made in Tumblr and it seemed to have a lot more things going on than blogger..maybe a bit more complicated? boxes floating everywhere.
Tumblr is great as far as outlook is concerned and I use it to promote my contents, but never used adsense with Tumblr. Though blogger is already loaded with many functionality, but I find problem with indexing blogger blogs to Google, even with great content. That is why I no longer using Blogger.
Thanks guys..it was nice to see that. Actually I wrote for Blogger for sometime now but it really bad since I am getting a hard time to get it indexed.
Therefore, trying out Tumblr for a change!

I recently created a Tumblr blog for articles that have been idled here. I move those hubs offsite. I was using WordPress. The reason I have switched to Tumblr is the ability to incorporate Google Ads via AdSense. I am able to have one 250x250 ad (sizes can vary, your choice, as well as...

I am not too keen on Wordpress. It looks pretty and clen but the advertising options are limited. I use blogger because it's easier to use and gives me freedom with Adsense, but I really hate the limited templates. I am thinking of going domain and website for my recipes. What are your thoughts?...

... when most of your content is on Hubpages?I noticed that recently a few of the Hubpages regulars have gotten together on Blogger for a joint project. What are the advantages of using Blogger as an ancillary site, when you have most of your content on Hubpages?
