Just a scream Actually I am enjoying the torment. I must admit it is superb marketing technique. My hat off and a bow to the creator of this formula. It is a perfect incentive for writers, a motivating and inspiration tool. But (sigh) it is going to drive me crazy! What does it do to you?
A watched kettle will never boil and fretting about your hubberscore will not make it go up. Relax and forget about it for a couple of weeks and you'll be surprised at how much it has improved.
LOL! I did not worry about it, but now it keeps on dropping and I'm LMAO for myself because I'm freaking out about this.
It got me!
Help!
Let it fall, just concentrate on google.
Martie, I've learned that I just can't pay any attention to it - at all. I think all anyone can do is try write decent Hubs, do their thing, and participate on things like reading other people's Hubs, voting, etc. Most people who do that end up with a decent enough score range (and you have to OK with "decent enough range"). I don't pretend to be so immune to scores that I'm thrilled to see my drop, but that's how they work; so after awhile you just ignore it all. I pretty much ignore my best score too.
Thanks for the advice, Liza. I am actually doing all of it. Really, I am laughing all the way. I cannot believe that this gadget called hubberscore affects me all off a sudden like this. I was so amazed when I saw I’ve got 95, but when I look again, 94... 93... 92... and now I’m freaking out. Like a little girl in an amusement park!
earnesthub, analyzing my silly reaction on my score, I better not concentrate on Google. That one, I am sure, will through me for a six!
See saw!! it has to up, now that it is down. Don't worry!!
Martie, I think primary/elementary school has us all conditioned when it comes to scores, grades, etc. It can take decades for us to get past all that "damage".
I agree with you, Liza! Another prove of the fact that the only thing that goes up and never comes down is AGE.

I don't understand the reasoning behind penalizing authors for multiple links to the same domain. My Cedar Point hub has been flagged for violations because it repeatedly links to the cedar point website. I have no personal investment in this site at all, but I have a violation warning. The same...

A lot of people (especially new Hubbers) ask about raising your HubberScore, keeping it high, or arriving at a score of 100. What are the ingredients? Are there any secret formulae that, when followed closely, can help you achieve and maintain a high score? Well, there is a formula, but first,...

Do you guys who have 100 hubscores pay for ads for a site that leads to hubpages or hubpages themselves? And how do you do this? Also, June seems slow, can't remember if that is how things worked last year.

How are you adjusting to your new hubberscore?New HP algorithms for hubberscore (profile score) rolled out today reflecting the quality of your work. Traffic and participation in the community (forums, Q&A, comments) are no longer factored into the criteria. Did yours go up, down, or stay...

I did some research to try to figure out why my hub has nofollow links? My profile hub score is 73 and my hubs score is above 80. I read that you need to get your score above 70 to have dofollow linksDoes anybody know how all that works?
