   Out of curiousity what would you prefer. Only pick one
   
   1. A impression split site like HP and inforbarrel?
   
   2. A site offering 100% adsense revenue and affiliate revenue 'but' had other compatible ads on the page for the site to earn.
   
   3. Pay per thousand, e.g bukisa and associated content
   
   Last, what would be your ideal Revenue share, with being considerate that the company needs to pay for hosting etc.
   
   THIS IS NOT ABOUT HUBPAGES. just curious in general

      My ideal of an ideal revenue split would be the host getting a certain percentage of the Adsense and affiliate earnings.  I have to admit, I do wonder if HP is earning more money on their 40% split than I am on my 60%.  Has anyone here ever asked them?  LOL!

         Me too. I'm always wondering if they get the biggest sales/ad clicks. I wish it was 60/40 of the total earnings.

   I do not care for # 3 at all, and have too little experience with #2 to form an opinion of it.

   I'll take Bukisa anyday. I have better success there then anywhere else, even though is just cpm.

   I also wonder whether Hubpages gets better quality viewers in their share!  I did wonder if they keep all the US traffic and give you the traffic from places like India which is probably lower paying!
   
   I do trust them however I am curious to know if anyone bought a laptop in hubpages share or if they have 20 Amazon orders a month and I  get 15!

   Well we are the Lemmings after all.
   
   I once asked the same question and I was told if I did not like it then to go somewhere else. And I did, but I came back. I had an ulterior motive though.
   
   Imagine, a couple of guys sitting on their broke bottoms and come up with an idea on how to make a website and some money. They put the idea together and come up with this platform.
   
   The question to ask, is this for our benefit as well as their's?
   
   Basically it does not make any difference if they take the best traffic and lions share of targeted traffic.
   
   We are still here, so I guess no matter what we think, we are still a part of it and we are willing to accept whatever is going on here..
   
   Like I said - Lemmings....

      Not necessarily, Terry!  Just because I am here doesn't mean I condone everything going on here.  I'm not suggesting there is any wrongdoing at all by HP or that they are making way more money than we are on the split.  But there is no way for us to know for sure with the present system in place.
      
      I will assume they are doing well or they would be more than willing to show the results so they could take a bigger share of the earnings.  I suspect the time of day would have a particular  influence on when the traffic is the best for clicks and sales.  Most of my traffic is from the US so late night and early mornings are slow for both.
      
      We are okay with how HP works because we do not know their split in terms of money.  But do they know ours?
