That's not depression. That's cowardice. Hiding behind a disease, so now everybody have to feel sorry for him, instead of cursing him for all the  crap he's done !

    there's an easy solution.

Read the frigging constitution. All these problems he has have NOTHING to do with his powers as Chief Executive, and EVERYTHING to do with his allegiance to his party instead of allegiance to the Constitution.

Although, i'm not one to poo-poo depression, the article didn't really say he had clinical depression, it just sort of implies that he is depressed. These are, in English common vernacular, different things.

    Is it true?

    My condolences to Mr.Obama.

That disease (depression) could have communicated to him from other Americans, eversince he became their President.

Oh Bunk. it's not depression, it's GOP syndrome.
These GOP are trying to ruin everything for everybody.

    Look at em!!!

They take FOREIGN money to smear Dems. They take their money to FOREIGN countries to avoid taxes.
They move their businesses to FOREIGN lands to increase profit/decrease responsability.

And then they scream USA USA USA

It's crazy on a stick. And complete and total TREASON. THEY are not Americans---they are TRAITORS.

They move their companies to increase their profits, your damn right they do.

Companies are not in business to supply jobs they are in business to make money.

The US is one of very few Countries that tax businesses that operate outside of its borders on a deferral system.

The company makes money in Germany and is taxed at a lesser rate and when that money is brought back to the US its taxed again.

So why bring the money back here?

I know that concept of profit goes way over your head. But know that it is YOU and DEMOCRATS driving business and JOBS  away.

Now wait. Companies are in business to make money, not supply jobs?

Well now, isn't that a sign of thinking ahead and the greater good. Not. That's absolute stupidity. To ignore workers and households by business is to cut off its own head. There is no reason for business unless there are households to support it and workers to keep it going.

The greed involved in that concept, regardless of any political affiliation is ultimate stupidity. You bring down American households, you bring down your business. Just watch and see.

I made my point quite clearly. Big business loses if their only objective is to make money. I'm done with this one.

If a business does not make money then there is no job for employees.

Business shuts down and unemployment is the result.

Your point is, well, I think people can figure it out all by themselves.

Ahh, yes. Hence the reason why Walmart has endeared itself to employees and the public. Also the reason why there will be over a million foreclosures on American homes this year.

Yes, you definitely win. And Americans DEFINITELY lose.

                  Business exists to provide jobs?

As Ralph said The Onion is the equivalent of Saturday Night Live in seriousness. It's comedy. Check out The Onion Movie.

He should be depressed understanding how many Americans have been financially ruined after the melt down, while money machines continue to show record profits, even amidst the highest number of foreclosures America has seen (over a million this year).

However, I rather doubt he is depressed about his fellow Americans. Congress and the money machines sure aren't.

I would not be surprised if Obama is in fact battling depression; he inherited a total mess, he tried all he could think of to stop the bleeding (and it didn’t work as he would have hoped), he is under pressure from both parties as November elections are just around the corner.
What do you expect? Sure he may very well be depressed and it shows in his lack of energy and less than convincing enthusiasm.

I would say that that article is crap.  I wouldn't put any stock in it at all.  And anyway, anyone can be depressed temporarily, maybe he was having a bad week.  It doesn't mean he's sick.  If you had to carry the weight of the well-being of millions of people and deal with the guilt of a bad decision that would affect an entire nation, don't you think you would experience some down weeks?  Gossip, I say!

So what if he is on antidepressants???!!  Big flippin'deal!  Nobody would make a mountain out of a mole hill if he took high blood pressure medicine. OH!! Or how about antihistimines for allergies?  Duh.

Why do so many not consider depression an illness? It's  like any other disorder, just interference in the balance of the central nervous system.  Please, get a life. If Mr. Obama is on antidepressants, good deal.  He'll function better in life.

I would be depressed also if I was handed an eight year mess, from an ass who took the most powerful country in the world. That was left with a deficit by Bill Clinton, Even with his faults he proved that it is possible to make a difference. and withing less than a year have a complete Idiot. (who by the way has vanished, like no other president I've ever seeen.) For sure he is waiting for the right time to write his memoirs. (and make some more money) probably on the subject of WOMD. (ha..!!) never for the puppet handler will probably be non excistant by the time that comes around. How people can even think that this fool was entitled to the responsibility of President is baffling. And people still believe in this complete morron. I could almost imagine what The first Black President of the country must be going through. Because the powers that be and I don't mean the people we think we know as being politicians. I mean the real Power we will never know controls almost the whole world. This has got to be an enormous amount of stress for anybody. And anybody that believes otherwise must be either blind or Stupid.

And why can't big Government provide??? many other countries have proven that it is possible. As a matter fact if it were possible for the idiot to cheat the voting system and create a war on the claim of weapons of mass destruction. with a country that had nothing to do with 9/11. and people find that ok. then why not health insurance from the government. Members of congress leave with full pay, a mass amount of pension, and full medical benefits. If you don't notice that perhaps we have more problems than what this subject is about.

Because the government does not have money.

All money government has is confiscated from those that produce and given to those who don't.
