Try to follow along by adding two lines to this beginning.
You only need to make one of your lines rhyme with one of mine, either the first or second.
"Why should the devil get all the good tunes?
The booze and the neon and Saturday night?"
The best looking girls all dropping like flies
Their boyfriends turned jealous and itching to fight?
Because he is good at whispering lies.
The words that they all want to hear.
The swaying in darkness, the lovers like spoons,
the sweets that are fattening and all the good highs.
The lunar silver shadow in essence is the moon's.
The couple sitting lakefront are lured into a kiss.
Yes Satan works under darkness of night
Lovers lost in his spell sense nothing amiss
sun shinin' on the mornin' dew
gulls soarin' to race the ocean tide
(it's mornin' now.....ha ha ha!)
The cowboy bids the ole dusty trail adieu
to rest the bones for another days ride
In the twilight by the campfire he sits
His trusty Smith & Wesson by his side
nose tingles with the smell of the hide
leans back whilst kickin' his boots off
(he's a british cowboy btw )
Hoping for a turn of the tide,
He caressess his feet, and thinks of his girl
great owl hoots in the dark behind
stirs sleepy thoughts afore
His heart feels a embrace deep from inside.
A breeze blows a whisper cooling his ears.
Forgetting about his work, and his duty.....
Dreaming of the one so far far away.
The long lonesome weekends he idles the hours
while thinking of lovers together in sway

Thanks kimback for the inspiration to do this with your last topic.... Simple rules: Every two lines have to rhyme, the next two lines have to rhyme as well but be different from the first lines. Be creative and make it fun! I'll start with the first two lines to give it a sense of...
