   Closing out a LOT of unhappy chapters, and the succession and progress of some very happy ones. I'm looking forward to 2011. I'm also enjoying 2010 with it's multiple ups and downs. Ending the year on an upswing is a lovely thought.

    It is symbolic to me of starting all over and leaving the mess of the previous year behind.
    
    Funny, it means the same thing every year.
    
    This must mean that I continue to make a mess of each year.
    
    Perhaps, I need to change the meaning of new year...
