jesus was god and he is omniscient. then why he choose to teach in a language he knew would soon be obsolete? didn't he want anybody to be saved??
Congratulations. This has to be the oddest argument yet against belief in Christ.
I am pretty sure that while teaching, he spoke the language that people understood.
What ever language they wrote it in was up to them
@just_curious .. YEP .. "This has to be the oddest argument yet against belief in Christ".
Jomine:
My goodness, you PRESUME so much in this question. :
Qwark
Jesus spoke Aramaic is it was the language his mother spoke; Jesus did not know any Greek or Latin or French or English.
Jesus was not god, he was a human being and as such he spoke Aramaic the language his mother spoke. Please
Regards
maybe he didn't know french...or Greek ..or latin..sheesh idiotic question
Language was so uncomplicated before the Tower of Babel for everyone spoke the same language, then God gets upset and scrambles things by causing the creation of different tongues.
Actually, that's a funny statement. Considering the forum topic. I mean, it looks like english, but the words don't make any sense.
I guess you just asked the question so that you can insult others. Check out your Bible and discover the story of how languages got started. There was a time when there was only one language in the world, then God confounds the people by introducing different languages.
No. I know the Bible story. I simply thought you were making an interesting statement on more than one level. I did not mean to offend. I thought you were pretty deep. If you were referrng to me insulting the topic, yes I did mean to do that.
great. god got upset!! wonderful
so he got emotions just like humans!!
that explain most of the things
bible is true history!!!!
Um, I just answered as honestly as I could to your forum topic. Don't blame me if the truth makes you mad.
you can as much you please.. i am never mad. believers logic amuses me so much, it has almost become a hobby for me and that is why i post to get amusing answers from you people
or may be it is your god talking through you!!!
Well, I like to laugh too. so we both got a chuckle. it rarely gets better than that.
If in better you mean clearer, for me that's true. For you? Maybe not so much.
What language was that, Dave?
The only one the comes to mind is "Ugh" - the cavemans language.
hey jomine - have you figured it out yet? I'm looking for the answer and then I can breath easier. My garsh it's harsh these days. I need to be saved pleease! There's too much snow in the driveway. What's happening? Snow got to y'all?
