Green Bay looking good so far. 21-3 ---correction: 21-10 and get the ball to start the 2nd half.

What is up with the horrible sound for the halftime show? Gee Cowboy Stadium is not looking that good for the TV audience.

To start game there was a problem with seats in West end and another with Fire Marshall disallowing seating in certain areas because of fire codes.
    Tsk, Tsk Jerry Jones.

Wow, aside from Usher looking like he had a dump in his pants, that was an awesome half time show!  smile

Oh yeah, the sound wasn't so good.  You'd think with all the money they spent on that stadium it would have a primo sound system.

That version of "Sweet Child O' Mine" was abysmal.  Seriously, awful.

I agree. half-time was terrible, the mixers were off, sound was off, and BEP just can't pull off that big of a live performance, it was rather painful to watch. The best part was the dancers on the field and the choreography.

at least the game was great to watch. good win for the Packers.

Looks like Pittsburgh's experience is helping them, at least as the 2nd half starts. The Pack's gotta rally the defense.

    Games getting good now.

I'm an American by birth and I'm ashamed to see these fat bellied linemen steroid soaked 350 - 400 lb'rs call themselves athletes!
Australian football is much better to watch. no body armor, full tackles, big guys, and real athletes!

    Qwark,
I bet you wouldn't say that if you were Aaron Rogers or Big Ben (or any American QB)! You'd want your line to be the biggest, strongest, baddest on the planet!

I'd be embarrassed to be associated with fat American football players...so I wouldn't do it.

Jerry Jones has egg on his face this morning. Not only did his new stadium not set the attendance record, but hundreds of fans with tickets had to be moved to standing room only because the area where their seats were was deemed unsafe. To top it off, the stadium audio folks obviously had no idea what they were doing during the halftime show. Mics were turning off and on at random and the audio levels were all over the place. I thought it was just a terrible show. The backing track could be heard at several points, and then there were other points where the backing track was either turned down or turned off and Fergie sounded terrible. It's weird, because she is usually a decent singer. Perhaps they weren't as prepared because they thought they would have the backing track.

The Super Bowl game was a hit, but...everything else about it is getting hit by the fans and the press.
The audio at halftime was horrible. The fans not getting to see the game was an embarrassment to the NFL.

Best part was the exciting game that took place. It was what I was expecting for Green Bay. I was surprised though at the Steelers. They appeared flat most of the game. Where was the emotional play?

The half time show and Aguillera sucked,in my opinion.

By the way,Who cut the cheese.
The Green Bay Packers that's who...!

Aguillera is a "hard" looking wench.
Seems they could'a picked a better lookin' female.
    Just my opinion...of course.
    Fat athletes and a "plain"lookin' broad...lol
    I'd rather watch female tennis...and I do...:-)
Human athletes rate, in the animal world, about as athletic as "cattle."
    chuckle, chuckle...:-)

As far as Cowboys Stadium, I have heard it is a difficult place to do a live musical performance. Performers have complained in the past. And, I think the BEP were doing the best that they could, given what they had to work with.

On local radio stations around here this morning in D/FW, I gathered from the talk that those who were at the game generally liked the Black Eyed Peas' halftime show.

Christina was just terrible singing the National Anthem.  She has no excuses for that.  Her use of riffs and melisma was just overdone and abysmal.

I think Lip-syncing should be reinstated. Blacked Eyed Peas sucked, blame the sound system or not it was a horrible singing performance, visually it was amazing.

I thought it was a great performance myself. You are right about the audio, but it was a cool theme.
