            I'm astounded by the inability certain conservatives have to make a point or start a conversation without using biased links to somehow give them some credibility. 
            
            Can you just say what you want to say in your own words without resorting to the support of your Beck and Limbaugh army... Do you have an original thought?  I assume not since you barely have 3 hubs in 6 months on a writer's site.

                  What a tool....  Obviously you read what I am DB Cooper posted since you commented on it, there is no reason for me to rewrite it.  I didn't see one word mentioned of him "cheating" in that Fox New article or the New York Post where Fox stole it from.  You see, just like you Fox News can't come up with an original thought either.

   George Soros "holds the bulk of his billions in tax-free overseas accounts."
   
       The ultra-wealthy pay lobbyists six-figure incomes to offer campaign contributions to legislators. The legislators in return make changes to our tax code that benefits the wealthy. The legislators use the contributions to get re-elected. If a legislator is against tax reform you should be able to figure out why.
   
       The NRF doesn't want to collect the FairTax although they already collect a sales tax in 45 states and the District of Columbia. The FairTax would require only 16 million retailers to collect and remit the FairTax. Our current system makes them and every other business and individual to maintain records and report to the IRS. That is over 200 million reports to the IRS as opposed to just 16 million retailers reporting to their states with the FairTax.
   
       Of those who become educated about the FairTax, 85 percent approve.
   
       Privacy is one of the major benefits of the FairTax. The government and your accountant would no longer know more about you than your children do. Visit www.fairtax.org.

                              Stop to think for 20 seconds. Who has the biggest guns? Neutron Bombs are owned by our government.
                              
                              On top of that - think along the lines of MONOPOLIES. Who has a near-monopoly on violence in this country? The government does. Undoubtedly. Law enforcement is left ENTIRELY to the government.
                              
                              Let's see: private sector, NON-ILLEGAL businesses kill record over the millennia... Not TOO horrible. Sure, the occassional mishap that kills a bunch of coal workers, other tragedies.
                              
                              Government sector kill record over the millennia: atrocious. over 120 million people killed in the 20th Century alone.

   Did anyone actually read the full Fox News story and then follow-up with some more research on the subject? This whole thing centers around Kenneth Starr (not Ken Starr), an accountant who catered to many big names in Hollywood. This is NOT like the Wesley Snipes situation, where Snipes was convinced by an accountant that he didn't have to pay income taxes so he didn't, and now he's in prison. Oddly enough, Starr had warned Snipes that he did have to pay his taxes (and was probably trying to grab him as a client), and he was a key witness for the government in the case against Snipes. Starr did the annual taxes for various celebrities, had them write him a check for the tax bill, and then he was cashing those checks for himself and not paying the IRS. The celebrities were not profiting from Mr. Starr's scheme.
   
   Even though they were defrauded to the tune of millions of dollars, the celebrities are still on the hook to the IRS, even if they can't recover the money from Mr. Starr. There's a reason why this story is "Scorsese hit with tax bill" and not "Scorsese arrested for tax fraud". They were the victims of Kenneth Starr, and if you're a libertarian I guess you'd say they were the victims of the IRS as well.
   
   When the authorities came to arrest Kenneth Starr they found him hiding in a closet, so naturally they assumed his was either a Republican politician or Elian Gonzalez. When arguing for a lighter sentence after Starr was convicted, his attorneys actually said that Starr's clients were "incredibly wealthy individuals with millions of dollars of discretionary funds. None of these victims were 'ruined' financially by Mr. Starr's conduct."
