   I was thinking it would be interesting that have a new hubbers introduction section in the forums.

   Yes that would be awesome and maybe a place where you can tell everyone that you have a new hub complete and a signature box where we can place our hub pages.

      Good idea. Maybe it would stop all these stupid inappropriate time-wasting promotional devices like leaving links to unrelated hubs in forum threads

      HubPages won't ever have signatures. I know at least one staff member doesn't like them. Which is fair enough.
      
      Each forum develops a culture and a flavour of its own, and there's rules and there's unwritten rules. People just have to adapt to them.
      
      So I'd suggest not creating a fake sig to accompany each post.

   I learn fast but also had my questions which probably sounded silly, when I first joined Hub Pages and had to  search forums to see if my particular question was being asked as I didn't want to post the same questions.  I remember coming across a thread where Darkside had answered questions on the Amazon affiliate capsule setup which was very helpful to me.  The old timers were once new too, and I am sure they can relate to the initial confusion of newbiees, so your suggestion is a good one.

   No sweat. Pretty much hubpages' hubscore and author score reflects the amount of traffic you generate from outside the site.
   
   Plus, if you are looking for advertising revenue, hubpage users are a poor type of traffic. Everyone is scared to click a google ad, and we all have our own affiliate setups

      I asked my dad whether or not if people knowing and understand the google ads and links, would that really affect people clicking on them. And he thinks that if more people knew and understood that the links are good links, more people would click on them. He thinks that many people are scared to click on anything that may get them a virus, that if they knew the google ads were ok, more people would click on them. Although, this isn't quite what you're saying in response to hubbers clicking the ad bc they're trying to earn their own money, but just a thought. What do you think about it?

         Google already makes billions (yep, billions) from people clicking on Adsense ads. So I don't think there's a problem with whether or not they know it's from a reputable source, just that they see an ad that is complementary to the context of the content and click on it in the hopes of finding more of the same information.

    Getting back to the original question - I think its a great idea.  I too, have been lurking around the forums to see if my questions have been asked/answered in the past, and also reading a ton of HubPages on what to do to be successful.  A lot to digest in a couple of short weeks!

    After thinking it over i think is a good idea..It works very well on other platforms and would be much less intimidating for newbies asking relatively simple and often questions that many of us in these forums have heard before..
